I will never own Naruto.

"Hey, Naruto, you coming?" Sakura asks, running up behind her friend. She and all of the Konoha 11 decided to throw him a birthday party this year, but he wasn't making it easy to convince to go to Sasuke's house, even if it is a surprise.

"I'll…" Naruto looks back down at the Memorial Stone, thinking of all of his family and friends now etched upon it. His eyes lingered on two names:

Namikaze Minato

Uzumaki Kushina

His parents. Up until two days ago, he didn't even know what their names were. But now he knew. He had committed them to memory. And know he's going to a birthday party, since Kiba isn't exactly the quietest when it comes to plans.

"Come on, up you go!" Sakura grabs his arm, new-found strength dragging him in the right direction. As they walk up to the front door, she looks back to make sure he was still there. Didn't want her to rip off his hand and leave the rest behind, right? They slowly walk into the door.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NARUTO!" All of his friends and admirers were there, popping up from random places all around the large dining room.

"BRING OUT THE SAKE!" Tsunade shrieks, pulling out her secret stash from…well, somewhere secret. The rest of the crew are finally happy, laughing and drinking WAY too much. Iruka, Kakashi, Anko, and Tsunami (you know her, that one woman from Wave) were all dancing together, having a little too much…fun.

"N..Naruto?" Hinata asks, her sweet little voice barely above the clamor of the rest.

"Yes, Hina-hime?" She blushes bright red, and looks around again, pushing her fingers together.

"I was wondering…do you want to dance?" She flushes even more, making Naruto wonder how much courage it took to ask those simple words.

"Of course." With those simple words he took her hand, put his arm around her waist, and danced the night away.

"Uh…where are we?" Naruto asks, sitting up rubbing the morning light out of his eyes. He feels a hand on his leg, and looking down sees it's Hinata. He looks around. People were scattered everywhere.

"So it wasn't a dream…"

I like this version! Happy Birthday, Naruto!
