Disclaimer: I do not own Nico.
I was honestly just bored and wanted to write something. But for me and my friend Sara, this is completely true.

What's Depression?
Nico was just sitting under a tree drawing when the new, haughty, and stupid camper, Andrew, walked by.
"Hey, Nico! What's depression?" He laughed and walked away. Nico looked up and watched him leave. Quickly, he flipped to a new page and started writing.
Later that day, Nico pushed pass Andrew to get to his cabin. Andrew started to say something, but he looked down at his hand. Nico pushed a crumpled piece of paper into it. Andrew looked down and read,
"It's like trying to wake up from a nightmare, and finally excepting that you can't. So you are walking around this nightmare, and everything you face feels like a weight pressing down on your torso. And with every step, the weight gets heavier. Then suddenly, you're falling. So you scream. You scream until you lose your voice. Finally you see a light below you. You peer harder, only to see sharp, jagged rocks. Before you know it, those rocks have impaled your flesh, stabbed your heart, and pierced your soul. And right after it happened, you're standing before you're supposed friends, and they're all laughing at you. Except for one, and he's holding out his hand, pleading with you to come with him. But you turn away. You let Pain and Sorrow wrap their arms around you. You let their broken wings shroud you in darkness. You let them drag you down to the depths of your pierced, shattered soul. You now have nothing left, so you give up. You don't care anymore, so you let go. You could just give up right then and there, or you could slowly slip away. Sometimes you'll grab back onto life, sometimes not. Sometimes you just. Can't. Do it."
Andrew looked up and stared at Cabin 13, disbelief etched into his face. A few weeks passed, and Nico noticed that Andrew stopped paying attention to him. The bullying stopped, and he found himself reverting back to his regular, closed self, having almost forgotten the weight pressing down on his torso.
And that's a wrap! It's hard to cope with depression- I should know. Bullying is just going to make it worse. So thank you, Andrew for stopping.
