Green Eyed Devil

Carefree he leaned against the old and withered oak tree, one hand elegantly holding a crystal glass filled with deep red, smooth burgundy. Dressed in the latest designer suit, silky black hair swept back, he looked drop dead gorgeous as always. To the casual observer he looked very relaxed and in good mood. The people around him were laughing, chatting and generally having a good time. Some couples danced to the tune the DJ provided and the children were running around as if released from long imprisonment. The weather god in all his glory had provided the happy newlyweds with sunshine and the reception was a success.
But if one took a closer look at the man against the aforementioned oak tree then one would notice the slight narrowing of the eyes and if one followed the line of sight it would lead to the rather handsome couple amidst the bustling party. The couple was an ex love-me-section member and a famous pop idol that a few years ago would never been caught dead together. But it has been a long time and old grudges have faded and have made way for new and pleasant relationships.
Ren Tsuruga was a gentleman. A man above any petty feelings, one with no weaknesses. A man who always projected a calm and collected persona no matter what situation he found himself in. And underneath the façade of Ren Tsuruga lurked Kuon Hizuri. Kuon Hizuri, who embodies the complete opposite of Ren Tsuruga, had a weakness in form of the pretty and right now rather desirable looking Kyoko Mogami.
While outwardly Ren was discreetly watching Kyoko and her long time friend Shou Fuwa, Kuon was on a rampant and murderous spree inside. The jealousy was gnawing at him and he involuntarily tightened his fingers around the glass he held nearly breaking it in the process. Ren had to bring Kuon under control before he did something utterly foolish such as stalking over to where Kyoko was and telling Sho where to stuff it. And so an inner battle waged for some time…
"Mou…I can't believe you. After all this time you are still making such a face."
He turned to the person that had interrupted his internal battle. The little waif of a woman had sensed the oncoming storm and swiftly made her way back to his side.
"Seriously…stop glaring at me. You ought to be used to him by now." She smiled wryly. "You do know he has a girlfriend now don't you. They are about to get engaged."
Then taking pity on him she stepped closer to him until he could smell her hair, she had washed it that morning. He breathed in deeply, honey and milk, her favourite conditioner. Slowly she raised herself on her toes until her lips touched his right ear. "If you behave yourself now, anata, I'll make it up to you later." He grabbed her by the arm and with one finger languidly traced her throat down to her collarbone making her shiver. His eyes took on a decidedly predatory look and his lip curled into a devilish smirk. "How about now instead of later" Instead of waiting for her reply he discreetly dragged a furiously blushing Kyoko into the little adjourning forest to find a nice spot for, in his opinion, much needed quality time with his luscious little wife. The empty glass of wine lay abandoned on the grass.
