It was a typical day at Hogwarts well as normal as it could be. There was Ronald being Ronald...and Harry trying to figure out who had entered him in the tri-wizard tournament. Nope just a normal day at a normalish school.

Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table in the main hall worrying about who would take her to the Yule ball. Secretly deep down she wanted Ron to take her but she knew that this would never happen so she would have to suck it up and say yes to Viktor Krum a Bulgarian seeker who every girl at Hogwarts has been falling head over heels in love with. Personally she didn't see what all the fuss was about. So when he asked her to the Yule ball she was surprised to say the least but as flattered as she was she quickly told him no and said she had her eyes on someone else.

Hermione's train of thoughts came abruptly to a halt when a scrunched up piece of paper hit the back of her head. Hermione turned round fuming ready to yell at however threw this at her. Surprisingly there was no one there and after a quick scan of the hall she quickly realised that the person who hit her was not going to show their face. With one eyebrow raised Hermione picked up the scrunched up piece of paper and unravelled it. The piece of paper said...

Hermione meet me in the library in the restricted section at midnight

By the time Hermione read the letter her face was as red as a tomato. Who would want to meet her in the library at that ungodly hour? Maybe someone needed help with their homework and were too scared to ask her in public?

Hermione was too engrossed in her thoughts to notice Ginny Weasley (Ron's younger sister) standing behind her and reading the note. Quickly Hermione stuffed the not in her robe pockets.

"What was that" Ginny asked suspiciously.

"Nothing" Hermione said guiltily back.

"Well it must have been something to make you blush like that. Ooh was Ron sending you a love letter?"Ginny smirked at Hermione's reaction.

"Of course not "Hermione said blushing an even deeper shade of red than before.

"Oh come on I am your best girlfriend you can tell me anything" Ginny said pleadingly putting on her trademark puppy dog eyes that nobody could resist.

After telling Ginny of the recent events that had just happened Ginny's jaw dropped, she couldn't believe what was happening.

"OMG" Ginny said in shock and disbelief.

"I Know" Hermione said smugly.

"You have a secret admirer are you going to meet him tonight?" Ginny said excitedly.

"I don't know" said Hermione confused.

"I mean what if it's someone I hate or worse someone who wants to kill me!" Hermione continued worriedly.

"Calm down Hermione just go and see what happens" Ginny said reassuringly.

"Ok" said Hermione giddily.

With that Hermione got up from the table and bid goodbye to Ginny and walked out of the great hall with a spring in her step. Whoever this stranger was they have defiantly put her in a good mood ready for charms.
