Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum has a bad habit; she always over analyzes things. Being a genius though, this isn't a problem. In fact, it helps her solve many issues. But what about when it's not an issue. What if it's a person?

That's right, we're talking about Marceline Abadeer.

She's a mystery. One that Bonnie wants to figure out. But where does one even start?

Marceline is many things. She's the Vampire Queen and Princess of the Nightosphere. She's half demon, half human. Sort of. If there really is any human left in her, she makes a point to see that it doesn't come through. Why is that? Why identify with being 'bad' when you have a soul buried within?

Marceline is a Bass player and a singer. She has her own band. But does that automatically classify her as a rocker chick? It should, but she has a way of breaking all the stereotypes. Rockers aren't as fragile as she...

Marceline is so broken, Bonnie knows this better than anyone, yet she us so self-assured. How can that mix? Why is she one day so closed off and the next an open book?

How is it that this girl who is the polar opposite of Bonnie, is the only one who understands her? But she's not opposite exactly. Well, I mean, not alllll the time. She...she..

She's a mystery. A truly complexed individual. All Bonnibel wants is to be able to figure her out. But the more in-depth she gets, the more it seems that Marceline is just Marceline. Bonnie can't label her. She can't make conclusions. She can't have the upper hand. But for once, just this time, maybe that's not such a bad thing.

I was inspired to write this, after briefly discussing with Gemma The Human, about how people always try to label Marceline as just a rocker chick. I don't really think that fits her though. Yes, she has a band, but that doesn't affect her as a person. I think she is sensitive, emotional, and very deep. Do you know what I'm talking about?
