Dally's POV

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to help brush away the blurriness, like after waking up from a deep sleep. I looked around, squinting a bit from the brightness my eyes weren't used to. When my eyes finally learned how to adjust to its new surroundings, I saw grass, everywhere. I think I'm lying in a meadow actually, all there is, is grass, some flowers and then the bright sun. I sat up, feeling a little light headed from sitting up so fast and looked around more, trying to find anything that might help me know where I am, nothing.

After a while, I realized me sitting here and looking around like a complete moron wasn't gonna help anything, so I got up and began walking around, my hands shoved in my pockets as I walked. I looked from one side to the other, over and over again looking for something, anything that looked familiar, for a way out of this, sunny palace that was really starting to give me a headache.

Jerking my head from side to side started to give me a whip lash, but still I kept doing it. Looking to my right for what seemed like the millionth time, I saw something small, real small, lying in the grass, facing away from me and curled in a ball. I smiled, it reminded me of my Johnnycake. The smile soon faded, I remembered what happened to my Johnny, how he looked right before he died. I shook my head, getting rid of the memory and began walking towards the figure.

As I got closer I realized he was wearing jeans and a jeans jacket, just like my Johnnycake. I got my hopes up too quick that it could actually be Johnny. Johnny's dead I told myself. Getting even closer, the figures began to get more and more familiar. No, it can't be Johnny, I tried to keep my hopes low, it's not Johnny and I knew it. I watched him die, I saw the life fade out of him, he's gone.

I saw the boy's slick black hair, like my Johnnycake. Skin a darker shade, like my Johnnycake. Also I could see a scar on his face, like my Johnnycake.. Wait that…. That is my Johnny!

"Johnny!" I yelled loud at the boy, startling him some. The boy jerked his head in my direction and at that moment, Johnny's death faded from me, he was right in front of me and there was no doubt of that from the moment his brown puppy eyes met mine.

"Da- Dally? That you?"

I fell to the ground, hugging Johnny as tight as I could, "Yeah it's me man!" I let go of our hug and kissed him, that was one of the most things I missed about Johnny, the way his perfect lips touched mine.

I pulled away, "What happened, Johnny? I thought you were dead!"

Johnny's eyes widened, "Dally.. I am, I am dead. Dally, did you," He hesitated before talking again, "Y-you died, didn't you?"

I thought for a minute, I had remembered the rumble, going to see Johnny right before he died, and then… I gasped, I was dead.
