A/N: I had rewritten/rebooted this story. Hope you'll enjoy. (:

Disclaimer: I don't own anything that is related to the Tudors Series and never will. Lady Isabella Parr is a purely fictional character that I created.

UPDATE: 10/23/16: I'm working on the spinoff of this story based on Isabella's mother, Lady Anne FitzBaough. It's titled under The Dancing Love. Feel free to check out if you're interested (:

April 4, 1502 - Isabella

The sun was shining brightly which twelve-year-old Lady Isabella Parr ran across the rose garden while screaming with glee as her playmate, Henry, Duke of York chased him around in the courtyard.

"Gotcha you, Issie!" said Henry with laughter as he caught Isabella when he hid behind the tree. Isabella screamed as she tried to wiggle out of his arms.

"I will never release you and you will have no other choice but marry me and with me forever"

Isabella chuckled which she attempted to tickle him so she could make Henry to chase her again, "You're a Duke and I'm only a Lady. I can't marry you."

"Then I shall make you a duchess so I can marry you and you will be my playmate forever."

Isabella wiggled out of his arms and ran away, "If you really want me with you forever, then you will have to get me!" Henry soon realized that Isabella has escaped his arms which eventually he chased giggling Isabella.

They ran around the garden for ten minutes until Henry caught Isabella in his arms once again, which they fell on the ground laughing. Henry proceeded to kiss the Isabella's lips, however, he was interrupted by trumpet booming as to announce the arrival of the King. Both quickly stood up and made themselves presentable for King.

"Lady Parr, can you go to your mother? I need a private moment with Henry." Isabella curtsied to acknowledge the king and left, leaving the son and father alone time.

Isabella ran all way from the courtyard which she cannot help but feel that there is something dread had happened which she nearly crashed into the Queen. Muttering an apology, which the Queen just laughed, "No worries, Lady Parr. You just remind me of my younger self. Your mother is seeking for you."

Isabella paid her with a curtsy, then ran off to their apartment where her mother was waiting. Upon seeing her daughter in the mess which she laughed, "Oh, Ella, whenever you will know your place as a proper lady."

Isabella curtsied, then apologized to her mother.

"I can't tie you down, my beautiful Isabella." as she fussed with her only child as she pushed her into the chamber to give her a bath so she would look more presentable at a dinner feast tonight. Isabella smiled and embraced her mother's love which she was thankful to have kind, understanding and patient mother.

"Mama, Can I ask you a question?"

Her mother was about to leave the room which she turned around.

"Sure, what it is?" as she understood that her daughter has the most curious mind and she would never pass the opportunity to get know her daughter. She always manages to surprise her no what, besides, it's always better to inform her directly than having her to find out from different people to harm her in any way possible and she didn't want that to happen to her daughter.

Isabella sighed as she wondered why she was always being told that she will never marry a prince or a duke, "Why it is never possible for a Duke to marry a Lady? We aren't commoners like the peasants?"

Her mother turned around which she held Isabella's chin as she knew the interaction between Henry and Isabella happened as she was younger with the Queen's younger brother that she thought she was in love with Prince Richard, Duke of York. She knew that she has no other choice but be rather harsh about love as she did not want her daughter to be end up hurt because of customs that they have to follow.

"Isabella, you're twelve years old and far too young to be in love. Actually, love doesn't really exist. You are to marry that your father chose. Understand?"

Isabella nodded in understanding and silently blamed herself for being foolish to believe that she fell in love with Henry but she cannot deny that her actual in love with the handsome prince. Sighing, Isabella decided to find Henry as she was curious what the reason why did the King wanted to talk him. Deciding that her curious mind is too important than taking a bath for tonight, she skipped out the chamber.

"I'm going out and I'll be back!" yelled Isabella to her mother. She was gone before her mother could even stop her.

Henry

My brother died. I don't care about his death much. I don't feel anything as I did when I ran with Isabella mere an hour ago. The world felt unstable, that I am no longer a duke, now I am the Prince of Wales.

"I don't want to be Prince of Wales. I want to be a Duke and be with Isabella rest of my life!" wailed Henry to his mother, the Queen as he saw her entering into his room.

"Hush, Hanky. You know that you can never marry Lady Parr, no what how much I adore her." said his mother as attempted to comfort him with the new burden onto his shoulders.

"But Maman, I love her and we will be very happy all time. Don't you want everyone to be happy?"

The Queen chuckled which she rubbed Henry's copper red hair. He is correct that she wanted everyone to be happy but she is not going to let him to win as her primary goal is to have Henry's silly thoughts about marrying his love out of his head.

"Hanky, Don't be a fool. Be proud in fact that you will be next King of England and you will have all the attention. It's matters to you that you have to marry a proper person to make Europe happy, which unfortunately, it all about making alliances so you will have to marry a Princess not just a simple lady from countryside. Worst, Lady Parr isn't from the wealthy family so she wouldn't bring in all the wealth that you will need to keep this country out of tyrants."

"Please Maman. She has a name. I don't care about money! Be respected is all matters and I know Isabella will provide me happiness, respect and sons."

The Queen sighed as she knew that no hard she give out the fact to her only surviving son. Henry will never give up Isabella that easily and they will have to separate them but for now, Henry is not expected to marry in another couple of years. They will have to keep them separate as soon as they can because Isabella is in eligible marriage age.

"Alright, Hanky. I'll let you hang out with Lady Parr but you must promise me not to suggest her to marry you or we will have to throw her into the tower and declare the marriage invalid. You don't want that to her, right?"

Henry heard her mother's statement clearly but he refuse to listen to her as he had a plan forming in his mind. He wiggled out his mother's arms and ran across the court to find Isabella which he found her sitting under our favorite secret spot.

"Hal… What happened?" asked Isabella upon seeing him climbing through the small hole.

Henry did not say anything but kissed her lips tenderly which Isabella was surprised his quick to kiss her but she decided not to complain about it as Henry was pretty a good kisser.

"Arthur died and I will be next king. Maman said that I can't marry you because you're not a proper Princess so I will make you a Princess. I will marry nobody else but you, Lady Isabella Parr. Then we will have a bunch of handsome sons that they will regret saying no in first place."

Isabella found his fantasy rather foolish but she dare to hope that it will be true as she doesn't think she will find anyone else to fall in love like she did with Henry. She squeezed his hand which Henry took it as sign that she agreed with her. They had another round of innocent kissing which it was sweet which Henry or Isabella wanted to end.

"Promise me that when you become a king, the first thing is to make me become a Duchess then we will get married."

Henry took out his sharp knife and pricked on his thumb, "I promise with my blood, Princess Isabella."

Isabella took her hand which she pressed onto his heart which Henry held Isabella's hand.

"I will never stop loving you, Henry, even you are the Prince now.

Henry squeezed Isabella's hand to embrace his love toward her. Before Isabella could do anything, Henry's mother called for him which Henry grabbed Isabella's hand which they ran out their secret spot, thus scaring the Queen by their sudden appearance.

"Hanky!" scolded Henry's mother after calming down after the fright.

Henry quickly apologized which Isabella curtsied to acknowledge the Queen's presence.

Maman nodded to Isabella, "Your mother is looking for you. You better make haste."

Isabella curtsied once again and left to her mother as she knew the exactly reason why her mother is looking for her as it's her bath time.

"Lady Parr would make a good queen, thru. Pity that she has to born in wrong family." said the Queen after watching Isabella leaving to attend her business.

Henry began to protest as in hopes that he will able to marry her, "But! Why marrying a commoner is such of a bad thing? Your mother was a commoner and my grandfather chose her! Why can't I chose her?"

The Queen sighed, knowing that the situation was very different in the time which she attempted to think a good way to tell her son that the establishing on the throne is more important.

"Listen, Hanky. You know the story, nobody liked when my father chose my mother. It caused chaos on the throne as it didn't bring stability. You know how much times he had to run into exile while my mother had to grab me and my siblings into Westminster Abbey. We don't want that happen to you to leave the throne in chaos and Lady Parr to fear for her life with young children. Now, no more questions. It's time for your archery lesson."

She kissed her son's head to say goodbye then let him on his way to archery lesson. Chuckling as she thought about her son's dallying with his playmate which she knew that he is still young enough and only just experience the fun trip of love and eventually he will outgrow her when he becomes a king. By the time, he will become a king. Isabella would be married and bear couple of children already.
