Somewhere between happy

Bare feet hit the ground as her red hair slid off the pillow. She glanced back as she pulled on clothing. He slept. Pleasant. Quiet. Peacefully. Still. Her lips curled into a smile as she slipped from the bed.

And total fucking wreck

It shattered as it hit the wall. Glass thrown bout everywhere. He didn't flinch Her hand matched the shade of her hair as she hissed, "Get the hell out of my life." Her blue eyed addiction stared back at her. Unmoving. Uncaring. She winced at the word. "Fine."

Feet sometimes on solid ground

His hand gripped her wrist as her back pressed against the wall. Her eyes flicked towards his, as his arm slipped around her waist. Both close to the wall, and pulled right next time him, her addiction took hold. Her hand pressed against the wall, bracing herself.

Sometimes on the edge

She wanted to tell him to just leave, but the addiction she held onto. She could make this so much easier. His back turned to her, uncaring of anything she spoke off. Swinging her body around, she walked straight out of the room. So close, yet couldn't end the torment.

An obvious disinterest, a barely managed smile
A deep nod in agreement, a status quo exile
I shirk my obligations, I miss all your deadlines
I excel at quitting early, and fucking up my life

Standing there, disinterest in what she was saying, just read on his face. Something good? He managed to suck up a smile. Her lips pouted out as her eyes looked away from him. His blue eyes focused on the redhead's jaw, as it clenched tightly, sign of anger. "I'm doing nothing but fucking everything up." She whispered as she swung away.

She realized this..and yet she did nothing to stop her constant addiction.

All smiles and sunshine, a perfect world on a perfect day

A smile spread across her face as he walk beside her. Her hands dangled as she craved to touch him, but she was content with just staring at him. His blue eyes focused else where and deep in a conversation. Girls stared at her in envy. Her heart started to race as soon as those blue eyes turned to her and his head nodded back slightly, a cue to start moving.

The smile barely faded as he started to walk. She didn't need words, and she knew to follow him.

Life for you, has been less then kind.

Her hand clenched, blood still dripping. Still completely addicted. She couldn't do it any more. Her heart ached. The door slammed, and as he stood there for barely a moment, he heard the distinct sound of glass against the door.

"Fuck." She screamed as he smirked. His footsteps on the porch faded, as he walked right out of her life. The red head slid the bleeding hand through her red locks, without a thought. Looking at the red that streaked her face, she breathed softly. Her mouth fell open. Her eyes still focused on the door. Shifting her gaze, she stared down at the hand the dripped onto the floor.

It matched her hair. The soft sound of it on the floor as she just stared. He had done this all and yet, she muttered only words though he was long gone.

"I'm in love with you.."

Her voice shook, speaking to no one but herself. Sliding her bloody hand across the wall, her broken heart and her now broken body left the room where it had all started.

It had ended there.

Everything was different and yet, it was still the same.
