17 year old Hermione Granger has never seen an Eclipse of any kind. She was either asleep or busy reading, but not this time.

Ron was now heading up to the girls dorms while Hermione was asleep on the very beautiful Christmas mourn. The snow outside was luminated by the moon as the dark shadow made its way across the sky and the Lunar Eclipse was about to happen at about 3:40am and now was 3:25am.

He entered the room, without making a sound, and tip-toed to Hermione's bed. There he saw a sleeping beauty with her curly golden brown locks shining as the moon shined through her window serenly.

Ron shook her gently to wake her from her dream state. "Herms, Hermione, wake up. 'Mione? Come on, you'll miss it." Ron said to her without waking the others. Her eyelids started to flicker and then he saw her gorgeous chocolate brown eyes tiredly opening.

"What are you doing' here?" she moaned while yawning; now it was 3:31am in all of Hogwarts. She sat up, struggling because she was still tired. He noticed this and put his hands around her waist to keep her up. She blushed crimson, so did he.

He told Hermione to put on some warm clothes while he rushed to the Boys Dorms to get Harry's cloak. When he came back Hermione was ready in jeans and a warm looking sweatshirt that said "Star" and had stars and planets on it. They put the cloak on and snuck out.

On their way down their hands kept touching and each time they blushed. Finally they were out on the grounds away from Mrs. Norris and Filch. Ron took the cloak off and laid it down on the grass as his watch said 3:39am. They sat down and watched the starry sky in anticipation. Soon a black circle made it's way over the moon and stayed there in the center eliciting a red glow around the edges.

Ron looked at Hermione and saw a tear was making a path down her left cheek. He leaned over and wiped it away, Hermione smiled at him. "Hermione, I'm really glad we could share this. I dunno who else I would've wanted to share such a beautiful moment than with some as beautiful, both inside and out, as you." He said to her seriously and gentle. His face looked cute smiling, and even in the diminished light she cold see the icy blue eyes staring deep into her brown ones.

Hermione didn't know what to do, all she knew was that she loved him more than anything. He showed her something amazing, so she decided to be spontaneous and thank him in a way that two best friends normally didn't thank each other. Still staring into his eyes she quickly leaned in and pecked him on the lips, looking away and blushing when she pulled away. Ron just sat there with a look of amazement on his face.

Ron then pulled her back and kissed her deeply as the black circle started to drift away from the moon, their bodies bathed in the light from the moon. Harry Potter sat on his ledge watching this beautiful moment happened for the first time in history. He chuckled and said to himself, "Finally."
