On A Green-y Day by Zamir

Zamir and Tsukiko began to leave the house to go on a few errands here and there, when suddenly Tsukiko beeps, telling Zamir that he set a reminder."Hmm? Oh yeah, it's St. Patrick's Day! Thanks Tsukiko, it would've hurt
being pinched all day for not wearing green!"

So with that in mind Zamir walks over to the closet and begins rummaging through for something green to wear when he discovers something that he totally forgot about: his Link Halloween getup. Zamir starts laughing when Tsukiko comes over to see what's going on.Tsukiko gives Zamir a curious look as he starts pulling clothing out of the bag in front of him. "Zamir, what is this?" she asks while picking up the Link hat.

"That's a green hat which belongs with this costume. It's what I used to wear when I was having fun as a child," he responds fondly.

"Fun?" she asks, not understanding.

"Yeah, it's something that can make you smile or laugh! See?" he says as he puts the ridiculously small hat on top of his head.

He smiles a roguish grin at himself in the mirror, which makes Tsukiko smile at him. "See? That's part of having fun! Let's see if we can find something
for you too, Tsukiko."

Zamir pushes around some more boxes until he finds
another one marked "Christmas Stuff". "Hey, this'll work!" he exclaims as he pulls an elf hat out for Tsukiko.

He gently puts it on her head, and it promptly slides down onto her forehead in a ridiculous slope, with the hat
slumped on one side of her head.

Zamir laughs and points at the mirror, where Tsukiko can see herself. Then she starts laughing too."Tsukiko, let's go out and have some fun on the town wearing this!" he smiles as he slings the plastic Hyrulean shield onto his back.

"Alright, let's go!" Zamir shouts as he clasps Tsukiko's hand in his.

They parade out of their house and walk to the park. As they enter the park a bunch of little kids who were playing tag stop and stare at them. Then, the kids start laughing hysterically when Zamir starts acting out a scene where he beats a bad guy down with his imaginary sword and plastic shield. Tsukiko sits down on a nearby bench, when a kid about 8 years old promptly runs up to her. "Excuse me, Miss, but are you one of Santa's elves? Can you tell him that I promise to be good this year if he'll get me that video game that I really, really want?"

Tsukiko smiles at the boy and replies, "Of course I can!" The boy starts cheering as he dashes off to join his friends.

After a little while of acting, Zamir looks at his watch. "Oh man, I have to go to work soon," he says to the group of kids. They all groan saying theywant to see more, and "Mr., I wanna see you beat more bad guys!" is heard throughout the throng of children.

"Don't worry, kids, I'll be here next year!" Zamir grins as he waves goodbye to them. Then he walks over to Tsukiko, who's sitting on the bench with a cute smile on her face.

"Zamir, I know what fun is now!" she exclaims excitedly.

Zamir smiles back at her warmly then says, "That's great Tsukiko! Unfortunately, we have to head home now. I've got work today." Tsukiko looks disappointed until he says, "But don't worry. Next year we'll do this again!" They both head home, hand-in-hand, smiles on their faces.
