Prologue: Time and time again
Sitting on the border of the land of wind and fire a young teen sat his legs stretched in front of him touching the sand but his back rested firmly on the tall thick hundred year old oak.
"Yo!" A cheery voice sounded to his left, the teens heart jumped in surprise in it's owners still body, turning the teen turned to the other they were waiting for. It was beyond odd seeing the old black matted cloak the other stopped wearing years ago.
"Yo." The teen mumbled hopping to his feet with only the grace a well trained shinobi possessed. The two looked each other up in down, sizing up the other.
"So..." the cloaked shinobi started, breaking the ever silent air, the only noise letting both the desert and forest know that they were occupied.
"Are we really doing this?" the teen grumbled fixing the long black strap on his bag over his shoulder. Sensing the other wanted him to clarify as they had originally planned all of things to do. "Are we really taking your experimental time jutsu to the past to change things and live with the others again." The teen sighed his counterpart really could be dense sometimes.
"You don't have to if you don't want to, it's just... I've grown bored, and I wish to have that rush of adventure again." The cheerful tone gone replaced with a monotone response. "As stupid as that sounds my excuse for going back is I'm bored. But can you tell me you aren't?"
"I never said I wasn't coming moron, I was just making sure that you were prepared for what ever is to come I mean we-"
"I'm ready!" The cloaked figure yelled throwing their hands in the air.
"Than as am I." The teen approached closer to the other.
Standing close together the two crossed arms so they were interlinked before beginning the start of the hand seals, after five minutes of an absurdly long list of hand seals, the duo ended together. "Warp-Time-no-Jutsu!" They called out together.
For just a moment it was as if the forest and the desert stilled frozen from time before all the surrounding area was enveloped in a blinding light. And once more the two were alone for all but the wind gently blowing the leaves and smoothing the sand of the evidence the two had existed at that moment in time.
What do you think, it's my first fanfiction, my friend only published one, and I'm not the person who created Queen Darkness Rises, but due to my scared shy nature I didn't want to make my own account and publish my stories, so she wrote one fanfiction and then gifted me the account (the butt used my nickname and email address), but I hope you like it. Please review if you see anything I can improve on.
