"Collette?"
"Collette?"
"Collette,
come out come out where ever you are"
"Sweetie, stop
this! Nobody is there. I know you're bored, but please stop
this."
The sweet little innocent four year old looked at her
mother with pleading honest eyes.
"But mommy, I'm just
playing hide and seek with Collette"
"Honey, I know we
just moved here but playing hide and seek with your 'imaginary'
friend won't make any new friends, now will it?"
"But
Mommy, Collette is real"
"She is to you sweetie, now be
a good little girl and just play with the grass or
something"
"But-
"No buts! Now behave!"
The
little girl went further into the open field away from her mother,
looking down in sadness at the fact that her own mother yelled at her
for nothing but playing a game, with a friend. Suddenly she herd
giggling from a few feet ahead, looking up to see a girl of the same
age, having bright crystal blue eyes, raven black hair with a purple
shine being held in two braided pigtails that hung over her shoulders
ending just above her waist, wearing a pure black dress that ended a
little bit lower than her knees, arms length ending at her elbows,
smiling back at her.
The little girl sparkled with joy and ran
over to her friend, hugging her tight.
"What's wrong Molly?
You found me"
"I know, it's my mom"
"Did
she say something?"
"She said you weren't real"
"Did
she yell at you for playing with me?"
"…yes"
Molly said as she started crying.
"I'm so sorry Molly"
"I
don't think she will let us play together any more…"
"How
long do you want to play together?"
Not knowing much, little
four year old Molly said "Forever"
"Then your wish
shall be granted…"
That night Molly went to bed early,
being very tired from playing all day with Collette. Downstairs, her
mother was sitting by the fireplace watching the open fire and
drinking some tea.
"You shouldn't be so mean to a sweet
little girl like Molly"
Molly's mother jerked in her chair in
surprise, almost dropping her cup of tea.
"W-Who are you?"
She stuttered as she looked in the direction of the voice that called
out to her, finding a little innocent looking girl with piercing
crystal blue eyes.
"Molly wants to play, but you won't let
her" Collette said as she stared intensely at Molly mother.
"She
shouldn't play with imaginary friends or people, she needs real
people, real friends"
In one swift movement the little girl
was gone, and in a flash was right behind Molly's mother.
"Is
this imaginary?" Collette said in a brief moment, but quicker
than that being said she slashed Molly's
mother with a sword cutting her head completely off, massive amounts of thick red liquid going in almost every direction…
When Molly woke up the sun was shining and
the day was beautiful. She quickly got out of bed, got dressed and
headed down stairs to go out and play. When reaching the living room
where the fire place was she saw that it was completely clean almost
shining in the sunlight of early morning, and there she found
Collette, sitting in her mother's chair.
"Collette!"
"Hi,
Molly"
"What are you doing here?"
"We
finally get to play together forever, just like you
wanted"
"Really?"
"Yep"
Both little
girls had giant smiles on there faces. They finally got to play
together…forever.
