iTriangle

Summary: Who should win and who should lose? Seddie/Creddie

Set after iSpeed Date.

A/N: I am neutral, I like both Creddie and Seddie and I'm not sure which one I want to win out. I will alternate between the two from chapter to chapter. I promise not to play favorites and I will tell this story from every side of the triangle. I already have a set ending for the story that I think everyone will be satisfied with. Please leave a review if you want me to continue and please be civil and respectful. Thanks and enjoy!

Freddie observed Carly's ever-persistent smile and wary eyes. Tonight didn't turn out the way either of them hoped and he was going to make it up to her.

If she would only let him.

Most would wonder why Freddie kept his sights on Carly when he had been shot down the previous day by her for the umpteenth time. Freddie had wondered himself sometimes. He had even dated other girls when he realized his best friend might never return his feelings.

He examined her again. This girl was his first real friend. The first person to defend him and play with him when he was teased constantly for being a geek. This girl who moved in across the hall when she was ten that had the quirky sense of humor and a star-like quality that never went to her head.

Carly Shay was the girl he would always give a try, no matter the end result.

"Don't you think we both deserve to dance with someone tonight that we don't want to kill?"

Carly looked at her friend, somewhat surprised. She could crack a joke, or claim she wanted to go home. She could say no thanks. She could politely shoot him down, like she had a hundred times before. She has seen Freddie look at her like this a several times before but it has never made her step into his arms.

Like now.

She wonders when he learned to hold a girl like this, his arms encircling her waist, not too tight or loose or high or low.

Just right.

As they sway, she allows herself to react as if Freddie was any other guy and lays her head on his shoulder. She wonders when he got taller than her. She notices the slight tinge of cologne on him along with something else. Whatever Mrs. Benson uses on his clothes. Probably something she had tested herself to make sure it killed 100% bacteria. Carly smiles at the thought, whatever it is, it smells good.

Freddie smells good.

There is no panic at the realization, no awkwardness or weirdness. She wonders what would happen, if, at that very moment, he made yet another move on her.

She wonders if she would kiss him back.

She has no reason to wonder if someone is watching and that someone slips out as quietly as she came.
