In Plain Sight

The firefight was short but intense, and they were all on a high when they had to get back to base.

It was a big deal, and the adrenaline was still singing in Bulkhead's veins when Wheeljack approached him, murmuring some excuse, leading the other Autobot off to a rarely-used corridor where they high-fived and had to catch their breath from the mission.

"Seriously, Jackie?" Bulkhead asked, patting his fellow Wrecker's helm with one of his servos before letting it hang loose by his side. "Is this appropriate, even with Wrecker protocol?"

"No sweat, Bulk, I think it's entirely appropriate." Wheeljack laughed, fire sparking in his optics. "Time to play."

Bulkhead shook his head; sometimes he didn't know what to do with the fellow Wrecker, even when it was in plain sight.
