Riverdrop
This is a small poem about things that I heard and seen around my school. Actually, its a little bit personal. Well, I don't care if you like it or not, just read it. Characters from Zelda is going to be used so bear with me. If you're a romantic person then this should be to your liking.

An adult Link came home from Lon Lon Ranch in a state of rage. He went inside his treehouse, threw his shield across the room, and began screaming. He yelled at everyone who came to him: Navi, Mido, and Saria. After his mad ravings he began recalling his last moments with Malon. He told her his love for her but she rejected him. She gave an excuse saying that she loved him, not as a potential spouse, but as a "brother." He thought about throwing his sword out the door but then sat down at his little desk. Link pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. He then began writing a short poem of his feeling. It read:

From Shortcoming Rains To Infinite Dust

I walked with you through your barren fields,
Replenishing your strength with my heavy rains,
You then drowned in my sweet sorrow asking to be saved,
I then gave you my happiness to be your raft,
Your vanity was then placed into importance,
By my care, by my concern, by my love,
But the waves of vanity turned tide,
I displayed my feelings hoping to be uplifted by your holy arms,
I was let down by your feeling of family,
Of a likeness to a missing family member,
A Brother,
Thus I vanish from your sights,
Never hoping that you looked back,
To see my defenseless body fade to dust.

Link looked down at the poem and smiled. He was pretty pleased with his work. Not a regular poet, Link thought this was good. He left his home and went outside to get some air and apologize to Saria.
