Alexander Hamilton was used to being stared at. After all, he wasn't as rich as the other students at Abraham High, or as well behaved, for that matter. Unlike the other "nicer" kids, he would pick fights and have long heated arguments about stupid things like how to pronounce the fizzy drinks (he swears that it's soda) and laundry machines, just to name a few. So why did he have such a good time there?

Monday morning to a brand new school year as a sophomore. Aaron Burr arrived at the Literature classroom an hour early. "Why do the school doors open so early?" he wondered out loud and quickly shut his mouth. Knowing him, he would think too much about why they would do such a thing, even though deep down, he knew the answer- the teachers were too lazy to care. "Pardon me, are you Aaron Burr, sir?" a short boy wearing a very worn down green hoodie with a bird on it asked. "Why are you asking?" he asked him back, not caring much about what this guy had to say. "Oh nevermind."

It turns out, Literature wasn't very eventful. Alex knew about everything they had to say, and he should've been placed in Advanced Literature, except that they had no idea about knowing his intellectual abilities since he had no report cards to show because they were lost somewhere on Nevis. After a half day of high school boredom, he finally became not bored. Lunch period.

Alex ended up sitting next to a curly haired man with freckles, another person with a very heavy french accent, and a buff dude. "Hey…" he tried to make small talk with the trio. "Bonjour! Je m'appelle Lafayette!" The guy with the french accent introduced himself. Should I make small talk? Alex thought. Well, I shouldn't leave him hanging. "Bonne apres-midi. Je m'appelle Alexander Hamilton. J'ai déménagé ici des Caraïbes il ya quelques semaines. Ravi de vous rencontrer!" he sinked down into his seat afterwards. Small talk was definitely draining his energy. "Wait, you speak French?" he asked, flabbergasted. "Uh, ask later!" he stumbled on his words for the very first time. He couldn't open that can of worms anytime soon, unless they were best friends, of course. He the went to eat in a empty hallway.
