A/N Hi this is my very first fan fiction so I really don't know what I'm doing and I know that I'm not very good at writing yet but I had a really good idea for this so I wanted to try it. Please review and tell me what you thought! **DISCLAIMER** I do not own Hermione, Harry Potter, or anything related to that all those rights go to J.K Rowling.
Hi my name is Elizabeth O'Conner and I am nine years old. Today is my birthday and I just got a new book. It's a rather strange book but so far I really like it. Harry Potter is a wonderful book and I've finished it already. My favorite character is Hermione because everyone says that I'm a lot like her. I know that these books aren't real but I can still hope that out in the universe or maybe in this world Hogwarts is out there.
**5 years later**
"Liz you have to wake up. It's the first day of school aren't you excited!"
"Mom if I was excited I would already be up. It's the same thing every year. Boring teachers, boring classes, all the-know-it-all's trying way too hard. Oh and having to wake up at 5:30!" My mom, clearly disappointed leaves the room with a sigh. I suppose if I must I will go to school. I get ready for school then walk out the door. I have to leave early for school since my mom makes me walk since she says it's healthier. I don't particularly like it but it's better than having to sit in the car with my annoying brothers. I walk to school with my imaginary friend. I know it's childish to say you have an imaginary friend especially when you're 14, but I've been "friends" with her since I was nine. She's not really imaginary since I didn't come up with her character I owe all those rights to J.K Rowling. Hermione Granger. I waited and waited for my letter from Hogwarts to come but none did. I remember being so crushed but Hermione always made me feel better. Like when my hamster died or when I scraped my knee she was always there. She always seems better than my real friends because she listens and cares and sometimes I feel like real people don't.
:)
When I got home from school I did what I always do (run up to my room and hope my mom doesn't ask too many questions). As I lie on my bed listening to music I hear a strange crashing sound coming from outside my window as I get up to investigate I hear yelling so I run downstairs and what I see shocks me more than anything in my life.
