AN- hi hi!! How are yáll? I'm fine thank you!! Oh, yeah, I'm writing new fics, so be on the lookout for them!! Taking a itty bitty break from Everlasting… I'm not sure if I should make Near the King carrier for the virus like Rika is the queen… or should I just kill him?/ Thanks! Enjoy this fic now…. This is how Near first met Mello in the fic Everlasting, it's separate because I was not even going to do it… ENJOY!!
I sigh and look out the window. I miss my friends back in Hinamizawa, I guess. I really miss her. I hope that she will not die before her time. Ah well, it's something I would have to worry about later. I pushed it to the back of my mind because of the immense pain soaring through my leg. I had slipped down the stairs and my leg was bleeding cause of a pen that had magically been there and was in my leg. I look around frantically, searching for help. I was about to scream when the door opened.
" Yeah yeah, Matt, I will, talk to you later." He was holding a cell phone, and closed it, and finally, he noticed me. "Are you okay?"he said when he came to me. I would have responded, but the pain and blood loss was too much. After all, I was only 8 years old. I suspect that he was at least 2 or 3 years older than me.
I simply nodded. He picked me up bridal style and began talking to me, informing me that he was taking me to the infirmary. By the time we were half way there, I knew a lot about him. His alias was Mello and he really liked chocolate. His best friend was Matt, and it seemed that many people feared him, which made me wonder why he helped me. He had shoulder length golden hair and beautiful sapphire ocean eyes and his favorite accessory was his ruby rosary that he always ore with him. He currently wore black clothing, contrasting my white pijamas. His eyes held a commanding authority within them, but I looked deeper and found that there were sincerity and goodness in them.
"Here we are, kid. See you later, what's your name"He said. I realized that I had never even told him my name, even though when he had practically told me his life story.
I smiled through the pain and answered "Near. My names Near." He nodded while grinning and walked out of the room. When the nurse left to find some bandages, Hanyuu appeared out of thin air. She seemed to have a happy aura with her, which is obvious because she was smiling softly, like a mother's smile towards her child.
"I really hope that he turns out to be your friend, Near. I really do." She said, and before I could even breath she vanished. I looked up to the ceiling and smirked.
"Tch, Hanyuu, I hope that too. But it will be a race, to see who will be right." It would be very interesting, indeed. Perhaps he shall turn out to be my rival?
Maybe he even will try to beat me up- oh, damn it. My bipolar self was talking again. Why the hell did I have to be bipolar?
AN- Wow… that sucked. I mean, it sucked BIG TIME Ah well review on how much you hate it. Kudos to you.
Galaxy, signing off.
