He stares down at the girl in front of him. 'She is just a Muggle,' he tells himself firmly, but silently. 'She deserves this.'

He cannot bring himself to believe it. He does not know many Muggles, but he does know some nice ones. His old best friend's parents are Muggles, and they treated him with kindness even when his parents wouldn't. That is before they stopped talking, of course, for he called his best friend an unforgivable name and now he has joined a group that wants to kill her.

He looks back at the Muggle in front of him. Her breaths are ragged, as if she's in pain. She would be: Bella and Barry have made sure of that. They came across the girl on their patrol and found fun within torturing her. He stood back whilst they used various different curses to hurt her, and stayed under the pretence of obliviating her. Bella's speciality for torturing is permanently maiming her victim, subjecting them to a life of pain before wiping their memory of the event so they never know how it happened to them.

His black eyes scan the bleeding wounds on her face. She once had a pretty face, but Bella had carved into it to make it disfigured beyond recognition. He isn't sure why, seeing as Bella has a prettier face than most other witches, but maybe she holds some sort of jealousy to pretty people? Even if they are Muggles and therefore cannot get any of the people she might be interested in that week.

Barty cast the Cruciatus on her. She was under it for over two minutes, which would leave a permanent pain that even Magical medicine couldn't heal. She would never have a happy life. The tics she would develop from the Cruciatus would scare any potential lover off, even if her new facial features wouldn't.

She begins to stir, and he crouches down to stop her from moving too much. She whimpers in pain, and he has to stop himself from flinching. It isn't his fault that she's hurting, although he could have stopped Bella and Barty if he really tried...

Or could he? He probably would have been killed, and the girl put in more pain. He couldn't help her if he's dead.

He could stop her from a life of suffering, however. One simple spell could stop all of her pain in one second. She would never realise the full extent of her injuries, for she would never have to look in the mirror. He nods to himself, satisfied. He can help her. This will be kinder, after all.

He points his wand at her head. "Avada kedavra!"

The green glow is unmistakable, but it only bounces around the walls of the room as it hits the girl. He lets out a shuddering breath as the girl slumps to the floor. She will be better off in the afterlife.

"Sevvy," Bella calls through the front door, apparently bored of waiting for him to catch up. "Are you ever coming out to play?"

"Of course, Bella. I'll be right there."

He collects himself before following his fellow Death Eater into more Muggle homes. He can save more people from a life of pain. He can do something to help, instead of harm.

Ehhhhhhh.
