Clapping files on his desk, Seiya looked up at the fairies of music, sweets, and flowers, a business-like frown on his face. "If that's everything?"
"Mm, we'll see you tomorrow-fumo."
"Thank for the hard work-ron."
Tiramii was the only one who hesitated, smirking and covering his mouth as he snickered, stealing a glance at Isuzu, "Say, Kanie, about the other day, in the dragon's lair..."
"Hm? What of it?"
"You were awfully worried about Isuzu-chan. You cried out so mournfully-mii! 'Sentooo! Sentooo!'" he mimicked Seiya's voice well, too well for his liking, and snickered into his paw.
"Sento's the only good worker out of the lot of you! If that's all, then get out! I have paperwork!"
"Sure, sure, you're the boss-mii!"
The three fairies left, Moffle pushing the pink cat out and grumbling unkind things while he and Macaron shared a good laugh. Once they closed the door behind them, Seiya sat back in his seat and rubbed at his temples. Isuzu turned to look at him curiously, "Was that true, Kanie-kun?"
"Hm? What?"
"That you were concerned for my well-being?"
"Eh, well, I mean, of course I was, Sento."
"I am a soldier, and I was assigned to guard you while we were in there. It's only natural that-."
"Enough. Don't take things like that so seriously."
"Then you weren't concerned?"
"I meant that fake guard assignment! That whole situation was completely ridiculous! You're too easily fooled, Sento. Don't be so serious about everything."
She looked down with a distasteful frown, thinking his words over. Falling silent for some time, the only sound in the room for several minutes was that of Seiya resuming his work, until finally she spoke up quietly, "...I don't know how to be anything but serious."
Seiya paused in signing something. Sighing quietly, he set his pen aside and propped his elbows on the desk, hands folded in front of his face. "When is the last time you had a day off, Sento?"
"Since before I was assigned as manager."
"I see. You should take a day to have some fun. Do you have any friends in the park? I could give them the day off, too."
"...I have no friends."
He frowned and shook his head. Looking over at the window, he smiled faintly and stood up. Setting aside his paperwork, he walked toward the door and opened it up. "Let's go."
"There's still work to do."
"It isn't going anywhere. I'm going to prove you wrong."
"Wrong?"
"You do have friends. You have me."
"You're... a friend?"
"Of course. You couldn't ask for a better friend than me! And I'm going to show you! Let's go, we'll have some fun! We can pick up the work tomorrow!"
"But if we put it off now, then-."
"Come on, Sento!"
She stared at him, and the arm he had stretched out towards her. Relaxing her shoulders, she gave him a small smile and nodded, stepping through the opened door, "Alright, Kanie-kun. Show me this 'fun' of yours."
