Okay so this has been the one shot I've been working on lately and hopefully it'll be alright. I kind of had this idea from the toy story 3 movie when Andy is off to college, but it's the same, but not the same. This is about her actually being a teenager instead of a little kid and she is now cleaning her closet and everything. I hope you guys enjoy this.
Disclaimer: I do not own Doc McStuffins or the Toy Story movies ._.
Dottie McStuffins is a typical teenager. She likes to surf the web, hangout with friends, and of course do some shopping. She's not that six year old girl anymore that talked to stuff animals, and fixed them. Her room is not pink and purple anymore. It's white with blue polka dots on the walls and the carpet is still the fluffy pink. On the walls there were poster of her favorite bands, singers, and actors. Her bed is just a normal wood bed with light green sheets.
"Doc you're going to be late for school" Her dad said lightly knocking on the door.
"I don't like to be called that anymore, and I'm almost ready" She yelled through the door. She's wearing her favorite sweatshirt that is black and has the word YOLO written in white, she also has red skinny jeans on. Her hair is not in the pigtails like she was little. Her hair now is either down or up in a bun. Once when she headed down the stairs the school bus had finally arrived. She quickly grabbed her backpack, and said goodbye to her dad. Then she was out the door.
"They grow up to fast." Her dad said under his breath. While Dottie was at school he usually straightens up this house. He then heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Dad. I-I-I'm not feeling well" Donnie, Dotties only younger brother, coughed while trying to talk to his dad.
"Come here son so I can check your fever." Donnie walked closer to his dad. His dad put his hand up against his forehead.
"Feels like you have a temperature, but just to make sure I'll grab the thermometer." He said. He went upstairs into his and his wife's bathroom, he opened the medicine cabinet and grabbed the thermometer, and the little plastic cover to put over the thermometer. He went back downstairs/
"Open up" He said to Donnie. Donnie did what he was told so he opened up his mouth, and placed the thermometer under his tongue. *BEEP* The thermometer went off and his temperature was at a 100. It was an okay temperature, but he made a call to his school and told them that Donnie is sick.
"Donnie go to your room and rest for a little bit. Your mom will be home before lunch." Donnie went up the stairs and into his room.
School's out for Dottie
Dottie went inside, and saw her dad on the couch watching some football. "Dad I didn't see Donnie at school today." She sounded a bit concern.
"He has a little cold. Your mom is up there now checking on him." Her dad said.
"I hope he gets better and I need to talk to mom." She rushed up stairs, and went in Donnie's room.
"Mom is he going to be okay?" She asked her mom gave her a nod and letting her know that Donnie is asleep. Their mom left the room and Dottie followed her out. "My school is doing this donation, and I was wondering if I can go through my closet, and also the attic for things I can donate." Dottie said with a smile.
"That would be great sweetie." Her mom said with a smile back and Dottie went into her room.
She headed towards the closet and opened it. She noticed that she had lots and lots of toy bins stacked in her closet.
Wow I must had the most fun and the most imagination as a child. I wonder what happened. She thought. "Oh yeah I grew up" She finished her thought allowed. She took a light red bin out and opened up the lid.
It was full of little doctors things, all purple and glittery equipment.
"I remember all of this. I use to be a toy doctor. I remember fixing my toys, my brothers, my friends, and also random peoples toys. I always use to help them out. I wanted to be like my mom." She said out loud while looking at all her stuff with a smile. She put that bin a side and opened up another one. This bin had Stuffy the Dragon, Lamby the lamb, Chilly the snowman, and Hallie the hippo.
The stuff animals weren't as stuffy, or as bright as they use to be. They were close to be rags. Lamby the lamb's pink tutu lost it's color, it was a duller pink, it was also falling apart. Dottie looked at Lamby some more, then put her aside. Next was Stuffy the dragon. Stuffy wasn't so stuffy anymore. Some of his stuff was gone, and his blue was leaning on towards being black. She set Stuffy by Lamby, then she picked up Hallie the hippo. "Oh Hallie you're dirty as a pig in a mud pile." Dottie said with a little smile. Hallie's name was fading away from the name tag. She put her by Stuffy, then she took out Chilly the snowman. Chilly was missing an eye, and wasn't full of beads, also his white color was turning grey. She gathered up Hallie, Chilly, Lamby, and Stuffy to put them on her bed.
Dottie went back to her toy doctor's supplies, and place them on the bed by her stuff animals. She opened the purple glittery doctor bag and pulled out a purple and pink stethoscope. She put it around her neck, and clicked the middle to see if the animals will come back to life or not. She kept clicking the middle button, then she shed a tear, and whispers, "I'm sorry guys" she put the stethoscope down. Dottie closed her eyes.
"Does someone need a cuddle?" Dottie heard something, and opened her eyes. She say Lamby, Chilly, Hallie, and Stuffy, standing up on the bed.
"Why I'm dirty as pig in a mud pile" Hallie said, Dottie smiled.
"I'm sorry guys I forgot all about you, I'm sorry that you guys are dirty and missing some parts." Dottie said while looking a Chilly.
"I think I'm melting" Chilly said in his worried voice.
"Chilly you aren't melting, you just need beads added, and I need to fix your eye." Dottie said while giving Chilly a hug.
"Guys the Doc is in. Now I'm going to put you in the washer and dryer so you can be clean, then I'm going to fix each and everyone of you up." As Dottie was going downstairs she whispered go stuff. She put them in the washer, and started the washer. She then went into the kitchen to fix her a little snack while the washer was washing. Within an hour of doing things to wait for the washer she put them in the dryer. While the dryer was starting her mom was fixing dinner for everyone.
"So Dottie found anything you can donate?" Her mom asked.
"I did, but-" Dottie paused for a moment.
"But what? You're not going to donate anything?" Her mom asked.
"Yes, well I was, until I found Lamby, Chilly, Hallie, and Stuffy. My stuff animals I use to play with when I was little. I just don't know if I could handle someone else having these stuff animals." Dottie explained.
"But you have to remember some kids, don't have anything to play with, and when was the last time you played with them?"
"The last time I played with them was a while, like years, and years ago." Dottie explained.
"Then in those years you've gotten bigger and wiser. You are too old to play them now." Said Dottie's mother.
"Well can I at least fix them up and make them look some what brand new?" Dottie asked her mother.
"After dinner you can have all the fun you want to." Dottie gave her mother a hug and wait patiently for the dryer and dinner to get done.
30 minutes later
Everyone gathered at the table to eat spaghetti, except for Donnie who is eating chicken soup. Dottie is trying to finish her dinner in rush.
"Woah, woah. Slow down there Dottie, this is not a race." Her dad trying to convince his daughter not to eat so fast.
"Sorry dad, I just want to finish as fast as I can so I can fix my toys for the less fortunate ones." Dottie said with a smile. Her dad nod to give her permission to finish eating. Once when Dottie was all finished with her plate, she rinsed it off and place it into the kitchen sink. She headed to the laundry room, took out her toys, and rushed up stairs. When she placed everything down on her bed, all the toys looks shiny.
"Did I melt?" Chilly asked being the paranoid "snowman" he is. Everyone giggled and said no you are a toy.
"Okay I need everyone to stay in a straight line so I can organize who need the most work and who does not." The order went from Chilly (who was first), Stuffy (second), Lamby (third), and finally Hallie.
Dottie was humming the tune to Time for Your Check Up. "Okay, Chilly you've probably noticed that you have one eye missing and you need more beads in you. I'll look for another round button, and look for more beads. If I don't have any beads I'll see if there is rice in the kitchen to fill you up." Dottie calmly said to Chilly, who looks like a very worry snowman. Dottie looked in her side table by her bed for a round black button, and she found a stitching needle with white thread by it.
"You guys I'm going to say two words so you won't feel anything when I do the procedures, okay?", Chilly nodded and everyone else did the same, and Dottie said "Go stuff". With those words traveling through the air waves, he was down and ready for the new eye. Dottie sow the round button carefully and evenly onto the snowman. Now all she has to do is to find beads or get the rice. She looked high and low, side to side, wall by wall to find a package full of beads, but they are nowhere to be seen. She walked down stairs and found her mom in the kitchen finishing the dishes.
"Mom I couldn't find any beads to fill Chilly, is there rice I could have?" Dottie asked. Her mom pointed to the pantry, and Dottie grabbed the box of rice. Dottie went back up stairs so she could finish with her first patient. She found a little whole where some of the beads must have fallen out. She grab some scissors out of her side table, and cut the hole a little bit bigger. She slowly pours the rice into the whole until Chilly looks more like a snowman and not so flat. She grabs the needle and thread and sows him back up, and put him on the bed.
Next is Stuffy the Dragon. She grabs stuffy and lays him on the floor to for his check up. Stuffy has a little hole on his tail and some stuffing as been coming out of him. Dottie went back to look into her side table for dark blue thread, then she went into her closet and on the top rack there was a big thing of stuffing. She place the items on the floor. She hangs Stuffy upside down so the rest of the stuffing can go flow everywhere.
Dottie grabbed the scissors, "Sutffy I'll need to cut the hole a little bit bigger to put the stuffing in"
"Okay Doc do what you need to do, remember I am a BRAVE dragon" Stuffy and the rest of them giggled a little bit. Dottie cut the hole a bit bigger so the stuffing can fit perfectly. She stuffed the stuffing and stitch stuffy(try to say that 5 times fast hehe).
"There you go stuffy you should be all good now." She looked at Stuffy and placed him back on the bed. Then she picked up Lamby. She took a good look at Lamby.
"Lamby I can't see what the problem is for you." Dottie said to Lamby.
"Nothing is wrong with me, but its my fabulous tutu that is wrong." Lamby told Dottie. Dottie then looked and noticed that the tutu was ripped and it looked like it was impossible to fix.
Dottie rummage through her room, and even her closet until she ran across a bin said dress up. She grabbed the bin and dig through it, but she stopped when she ran across a bright pink tutu. Dottie carried the pink tutu back and placed it by Lamby.
"What do you think of this tutu?" Dottie asked her.
"I think its ba-mazing." Lamby tried on the tutu, but it was to big for her.
"I think this was actually mine when I was little but I can adjust it so it can fit you. I need you to stand perfectly still when I do this okay. " Lamby nod her head that she understood, and took off her tutu.
Now all Dottie needed to do is find a pink thread that matched the tutu and a measuring tape to measure Lamby's waist. Dottie went into the garage to find the measuring tape, then she went back into her bedroom to get the pink thread. Dottie measured Lamby's waist and warped the tutu around her. She grabbed the scissors and cut some of the tutu off. She then re-measured the tutu to make sure it fits. She grabbed the needle and thread to sow the tutu at the two ends.
"You are pretty in pink."Dottie said to Lamby while placing her on the bed. She then grabbed Hallie.
"Hallie the only thing that needs to be fixed with you is your name tag." Doc took a sharpie put of her nightstand drawer and re-wrote Hallie. Then Doc went into the bathroom to get clear nail polish so the sharpie could last longer. She coat the name tag with nail polish.
"Hallie, Lamby, Stuffy, and Chilly you guys are in perfect shape." Dot went onto the bed and cuddle with her toys one last time and fell asleep.
The Next Day at School
Dottie bought her backpack that is filled with the four toys she fixed up last night. When she got into the class room the teacher had a bin by her desk where all of the toys can be placed in. Dottie slowly got her toys out of her back pack and also her doctor kit. She looked at the doctor kit and got an idea. She grabbed a pen and paper and wrote, To the next person who has this, take really good of your toys, because you'll never know when the last time you'll see them. She placed the note into the doctors kit; then she placed everything in the box and said these words,"I love you guys, glad I could fix you up one last time."
Thank you to whoever read this. I hope you guys liked it as much as I enjoyed writing this.
