Hello everyone, and welcome back to my FNAF and Vocaloids crossover! It's time we get an explanation from Crypton and Mothy from the second-to-last chapter of the last book. Let's start with Mothy and Crypton's Five Nights! (Shout out to Afiction for the name.)
P.S. KOOKIEZ, in regards to your review in my last story on the last chapter, I have a confession to make.
I never actually came up with an official mini-story for when Mothy meets the Vocaloids. I never even began writing down a story for when Crypton first creates the Vocaloids. I like your idea though. I may use that in a future flashback I have planned already (stop being creative, me!) with a bit of a modification. Crippie though. XD I'm totally going to use that now if you don't mind.
Also, you're review is not long. Trust me. I've had a Hetalia ToD story, I've seen ones with either more words or longer in length. I've seen worse.
Also, I'm sorry about your tadpoles. I really am.
Also, if you, my lovely readers, have any quotes you have in mind to be said at the beginning of each chapter, feel free to tell me. Finding a good quite isn't as easy as it seems.
I'll shut up now with saying also a lot.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. The Vocaloids belong to Crypton Media, Mothy and Crypton belong to themselves; however, their backstories belong to me, and all Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2 characters belong to Scott Cawthon. This is Rated T for censored cussing (because my readers know I myself don't cuss). Enjoy:
"It is by no means an irrational fancy that, in a future existence, we shall look upon what we think our present existence, as a dream." ― Edgar Allan Poe
The Vocaloids had so many questions to ask. I'll sum it up for you; does this mean that Crypton and Mothy worked at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria possibly during the Bite of '87?
Well, now that we're done recapping the last story, let's get back to this story.
And if you feel like you've missed something, you might want to go to the previous story, Gallerian and Kayo's Nights at Freddy's, for an explanation or two.
They all moved to the library room which also served as a relaxing area. The animatronics, Gallerian, Kayo, and Irina sat facing Crypton and Mothy. The former had a water bottle in hand, the other used the table in front of him to place his teacup when he's not drinking it. What? What's wrong with Mothy drinking some calming tea? … That's what I thought. Anyways, everyone was sharing pizza that Chica was so kind to cook up. Gallerian didn't go back on his comment that her pizza was excellent. Irina, Mothy, and Crypton all mentally agreed on that statement, not knowing that Gallerian was the first to declare it.
"All right, let's take this from the beginning and start with a simple question. Did you both once work at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria?" Kayo asked once everyone was settled and ready for the explanation. They had all day, so they will be fine.
"We both did, yes," Crypton answered.
"Okay, next question," Gallerian said, "… What was this talk about the Puppet?"
"Back in 1987, the pizzeria was going through a remodel. The animatronics you guys know were in the back, broken and 'deactivated' while they were replaced with what we called Toy versions of them. They all were pretty much doll-like and feminine, kid friendly being the goal of the new look. Except for Foxy's replacement," Mothy explained. The animatronics showed a bit of discomfort with this, but who can blame them? Even Goldie was showing a bit discomfort and he didn't even have a replacement! But you all can probably guess why, since this takes place in 1987.
"Why's that?" Irina asked.
"Foxy's replacement was torn apart by children. So much in fact that employees got tired of putting it back together and the poor thing became a take apart and put back together attraction in its own equivalent of Pirate's Cove, Kid cove. It was supposed to be like a magician or something, I don't know the details. It's so torn up that we'll just be calling the thing it," Crypton explained. Foxy shook his head.
"Poor thing never stood a chance against the wee lads and lassies…" He mourned.
"They had other animatronics as well, along with the Puppet which was previously mentioned. The Puppet was a puppet-like creature in a box that was in an area called Prize Corner. Trust me, it was creepy during the night shift," Mothy said with a shiver.
"The Puppet is to Mothy as vacuums are to cats and dogs," Crypton said expressionlessly. A few of the others snickered while Mothy glared at his friend.
"Okay, let's get back on track. Where there any other knew animatronics?" Kayo asked, a small smile on her face.
"Oh yeah. Balloon Boy. That thing can only say, "Hi," "Hello," and utter a creepy child laugh. I swear that thing is made for horror movies," Crypton said with a slight shiver.
"That laugh was very creepy, and I'm not going to make fun of you for it because that thing is legitimately made for a horror movie. I'm not getting baited into making fun of you for something you just did for me. But that's beside the point. There are more, but that would spoil the story," Mothy said.
"Why did you both even decide to work there?" Gallerian asked.
"Well, to explain that, we have to go a bit further back…" Crypton said, feeling a bit nostalgic.
Crypton Hiroyuki Smith life was rough.
His father left the family before he was born, and his mother had just become sick when he was 5-years-old. The two of them lived in a part of the United States that had low chances for poor people like Crypton and his mom to get medicine. That mean he had to scramble to get money.
He worked his butt off on any available job during 1975 that would accept a 5 year old that wasn't in school yet, since it was luckily summer time. He was incredibly smart for a child though, especially for a child of his age. He was especially interested in robotics after his mom showed him a recording of the moon landing when he was only three.
He worked furiously at whatever job he got a hold of. Luckily, his saving grace game just in time for school to start. He gained a working stepfather, who was more than willing to work to support both Crypton and his mother… It was in kindergarten that he met Mothy.
Meanwhile, Akuno Peterson, for as long as he could remember, hated his first name.
Seriously, what kind of first name is Akuno? Seriously? It's weird, even for someone of Japanese descent. He didn't let it bother him much. By the time he was two years old, and was first able to speak words he already came up with a nickname. Master of the Heavenly Yard. Or Mothy for short.
Mothy was a smart kid, but in a different sense than Crypton. He was smart in the way of creativity, especially considering that, at the time period we're talking about, he was only 4-years-old. He could make anything he wanted, whether it be on a piece of drawing paper with nothing but a single crayon, or whether he was writing a paper for one of the older kids around his neighborhood because they were too stupid to write one themselves. If there was an assignment or project that had even an ounce of creativity, he by far exceeded the expectations.
He was ahead of his 4-year-old peers by a lot in terms of intellect, but they only allowed him to go to as far as kindergarten. From not even going to school to going to kindergarten. It's not the jump Mothy had in mind at the time, but it will have to do for now. Even though he's pretty much surrounded by a bunch of kids who can't spell to save their lives at the moment.
Now, however, he greatly thanks that minor setback, because without it he never would've met Crypton. And Crypton wouldn't have met Mothy.
They two were forced to sit together in class on the very first day, and their friendship bloomed almost immediately. They understood each other more than they did others, and hung out with each other a lot. They were like this throughout elementary school, middle school, and through high-school. However, just before the end of their junior year, tragedy struck Crypton's family once more.
His step-father died, and his mother became ill once more.
Now, in the year 1987 in the month of November, 17-year-old Crypton needed to get a job fast. He found an opening for two night guards at a local place. 16-year-old Mothy, having nothing to do during the month of November since his only relative (his older brother) happened to be visiting some friends across the country and wanting to earn some money, decided to join in on his money scheme.
And that, is the beginning of how Crypton and Mothy began working at the (of the time) improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, not realizing until too late as to the Hell of a pizzeria that they're entering.
A/N: Oh boy. Here we go with a new round of Hell with a terrifying upgrade. I have only one thing to say to all of this… Poor Mothy and Crypton. At this point in time, they have no idea what they're up against, or what they've about to sign themselves up for.
Also, the next chapter's long… You might want to brace yourselves for a long read. I had no intentions of making it long, I swear.
Thank you for reading and please review!
