A Chat between Brothers
It was Saturday afternoon. Kaiba Seto and his younger brother, Mokuba, were walking out of the Domino City Coffee Shop. Seto was drinking his coffee black, as usual. Mokuba was crunching thoughtfully on his dark chocolate almond biscotti. They turned the corner and were walking toward the park.
"Um, "Nii-sama.? What are we having for dinner tonight?"
Seto thought about it for a second and said, "Umm… I think the cook said 'tofu.'"
Mokuba stopped and stared up at his big brother. What an ass, he thought and took another bite of biscotti. "You know I hate tofu. It tastes all blubbery and disgusting. Why did you agree?"
Seto sighed and took another sip of coffee. Sometimes, his little brother really was a child after all. "I didn't agree. I just didn't care, really."
"And are you coming home for dinner on time?" Mokuba said back with a frown.
"Well, no, I have some things to wrap up at the office. So, I'll be late."
Mokuba shot daggers at Seto. He crossed is arms and looked up with his head tilted to one side. "Then, I'm not going back to the mansion, either."
"Oh, yes you are…" Seto mumbled. He took a sip of coffee.
"Nope."
"Well, I'm having the limo take you back, " he said offhandedly.
Mokuba was shaking his head. He was irritated and Nii-sama wasn't listening. "Do that and I'll…"
"You'll what?" The CEO raised an eyebrow. He took a gulp of coffee and wiped the corner of his mouth with his thumb.
"I'll wreck the limo, tell the newspaper reporters that you leave me alone every New Year's and I'll ask Anzu to French kiss me."
The great Kaiba Seto was taken aback. "Eh? I've never left you alone at New Year's! Ever! And, by the way, at thirteen, you're a little young to be French kissing anybody...let alone Anzu. Which reminds me… We really need to have a talk about the 'birds and the bees.'"
Mokuba started laughing.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, stop! Please! That's too funny."
Mokuba gasped for breath and laughed again. His face was pink now, and he was holding onto his sides. "Oh Nii-sama, you're so bad with people…! Who have you been with for longer than a day? I should be giving the talk to YOU." He wagged his piece of biscotti at Seto.
"Yeah, right," came a sarcastic reply. Seto looked down into the cup. His coffee was getting cold.
"Yup! So, here we go. When two people love each other very much…."
"Shut up."
"And they have special feelings for each other."
"Shut up."
"And they are in a committed relationship…"
"Shut up." He thought he gulped coffee grounds that time.
"Oh, wait! Wait! I haven't even gotten to the Vaseline part yet!"
SHUT UP!
"Hey, look Seto! I see Yugi, Anzu, and Mutt over there in the park eating lunch. Let's ask them to help explain things to you." He began to wave a hand in their direction.
Seto crushed his coffee cup. Cold, brown drippings leaked out from underneath. "What did I just tell you?!" he said, flinging some of the liquid away.
"Oh, I can see that you're embarrassed. We'll finish this talk another time when you have more questions, Nii-sama."
"What do you want?" He hissed in Mokuba's ear.
"Pizza Hut for dinner all week."
"Done."
