The boy awoke slowly, eyes clenching and opening gradually, revealing Brown eyes.

He opened them fully, sitting up hurriedly, looking around.

He was in the middle of an alleyway, the sun set high in the sky.

The boy brushed his black locks out of his face, breathing slowly.

What the hell had happened...

He got up slowly, clenching his teeth suddenly in pain, clasping his side tightly, looking around.

He didn't remember this place...

"Reparation System: Processing." An emotionless voice spoke, making him look to his right.

A girl sat next to him, her flowing pink hair falling down in two ankle long tails, her front facial locks fading into brownish colors as they went lower.

Her crimson red eyes were beacons of life, showing a hollow ruthlessness within them.

He watched as she slowly rose to her feet, standing up straight, her attire consisting of snow white armor and other accessories, including a girl's tie, guards around her legs that resembled high boots that came up to her knees, stockings reaching even higher up her thighs.

"90% Complete... 100% Reparation completion." She said, looking slowly towards him.

He could see her eyes change to another color, to that of a emerald green.

She narrowed her eyes slightly, then let them widen, and before the boy could react, she sat in front of him again, resting on her knees stiffly, yet never showing any signs of discomfort.

"Master," She asked, "How did you rest?"

He blinked at the question, then repeated, "Master?"

"What is wrong Master?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

"Why the heck are you calling me that? Who are you?" He said hurriedly, not sure what was happening.

"Master..." She looked at him for a moment, her expression not changing in the slightest way, "I am a Pet Class Angeloid, Type Alpha, Ikaros. You are my Master."

"Really?" He asked, then rubbed his head, "Why can't I rembember anything about you then...?"

"Do you wish for me to do a diagnosis of you Master?" Ikaros asked.

"Uh... yeah, I guess."

Her eyes turned to red again, and she got up once more, walking towards him again, then placing her hand over a part of his scalp.

He felt a large singe of pain at that, and he looked up at her, anger written on his face, "What the heck was that for?!" He yelled.

Ikaros only responded by saying, "It appears that you have brain damage Master." She explained, "May I commence the memory test?"

He couldn't help wondering what it might've been, so he responded with a would be I don't care tone, "Yeah, sure."

"Understood." Her eyes became red again, "Master, tell me where your home city is."

He gave no response for a long time.

He suddenly felt lost.

As though a void was where the answer was.

Sensing his emotions, she continued, "Can you tell me your name?"

"...No..." He responded to her at last, crossing his arms, "...Well Damn, I must've hit my head pretty freaking hard..." He said.

But, out of the blue, "Do you remember the girl you love?"

He snapped his gaze at her, noticing her eyes flicker for a split second with something else, but wondering why she asked that.

Was that emotion in her eyes...?

He sighed, thinking it was only his imagination.

And he said, in a slightly blunt way, "No Ikaros. I don't remember her."

She watched him for a moment, then nodded, "It seems you've gained amnesia Master."
