Toothania, otherwise known as the Tooth Fairy could not remember when her fascination had started. Perhaps it had always been there and had ignited when she had woken up thousands of years ago as the spirit of memories; who dutifully collected teeth from the children they s fiercely protected around the world.

She had many of them. Millions of teeth, all filled with precious memories. They were kept safely within her vaults, each guarded by hundreds of her smaller fairies; who were willing to give up their lives to protect each and every one of them.

However, she could not help but be plagued by the feelings of sorrow as she thought about them. Children died each day, and unless their teeth came out, their memories could not be saved. Memories of childhood; happy, sad and in between a like were lost each day, never to be remembered again.

And for this very depressing reason, she found her thoughts almost tearfully turning to Jack Frost, the spirit of winter and fun. The immortal teen, like so many others, had died as a child before Man On Moon had brought him back as a lone spirit. He would forever remain as a child, never aging, only existing. His teeth would never come out either and there for Toothania would never have the honor to preserve his memories, never protect them.

She could not help but dwell on the thought as she watched the young spirit stare down attentively at the snow covered city. He stood wearing his usual cotton trousers and blue hoodie, leaning against the Shepard's crook he was never without, and bare feet touching the light sleet beneath him. A light smile graced his face, revealing teeth as white as snow which glinted and gleamed in the moonlight.
