This is my first fan fiction, so I hope you like it!:3
Annabeth paced the deck of the Argo II, wondering what her boyfriend (Percy) would remember about her. He probably doesn't remember anything about me or anyone at Camp Half-blood, she though. Jason hadn't remembered anything at all about Camp Jupiter, so it could only be assumed that Percy didn't remember anything either. And even though Jason had been remembering things, Annabeth wasn't sure that the same could be said for Percy.
As she came to the middle mast of the ship (she couldn't remember exactly what Leo had called it) someone shouted, "There it is!", and Annabeth hurried over to the side of the ship. She looked over the side and saw a great collection of buildings and fields. The structures of the buildings were distinctly Roman, yet they were still (in their own ways) beautiful. "Camp Jupiter," she muttered under her breath. "We should land somewhere they won't get mad about," Jason said. "What about that really big field over there?" Leo asked. "It's called the Field of Mars," Jason snapped. He had been quiet for most of the trip there, only talking when they were planning battle strategies and otherwise only to Piper. Annabeth felt out of the loop, like she was the one who was socially backward and not Leo. She hummed a song under her breath, it was their song, hers and Percy's. It wasn't about love, but it was kind of sad-ish. "Whatcha humming?" Piper asked. "What? Oh, nothing, just our song," Annabeth replied. "You and who? Oh, Percy Jackson. Sorry I forgot for a minute. What song is it?" Piper asked. Annabeth debated whether to tell her or not. She didn't really know Piper a lot and wouldn't know if she would see the sentiment or not. Annabeth decided to take a chance, it didn't really matter what Piper thought of her. "It's Violet Hill by Coldplay," she finally replied. Piper looked mildly freaked out and walked away. Wonder what that was about, Annabeth thought. As she and Piper were talking, the Argo II had started to descend toward the Field of Mars. There was a medium sized crowd of demigods in the field and as the ship landed they looked expectantly at it, like it held all the answers for them. And there, up in the front of all of the demigods was a girl and a guy with what looked like blankets covering their bodies.
The girl's face was unfamiliar, but Annabeth instantly recognized the guy to be Percy. His sea green eyes never left her face while she walked down the gangway and stopped just a short way away from the ship. Annabeth wasn't aware that Jason, Piper, and Leo had followed her off the ship, so she was a little bit surprised when they lined up beside her. For a minute the two sets of people stared at each other like they were in a Mexican standoff. Then, Percy leapt forward and threw his arms around her. His sudden show of emotion surprised Annabeth for a second and she didn't react at first. Then she trew her arms around him and heard him whisper, "Gods, I missed you so much Annabeth."
