AN: I have no idea where this came from. I honestly don't. I was reading Kim Possible for crying out loud! Okay, I think the shiny nickel is Xander's thing but let's just say that Buffy got one from Xander. This takes place several years after chosen and the whole group is living in Cleaveland including Faith. As it's said in the story, Faith and Buffy have been together for three years. Faith got a large amount of items from her grandmother when the woman passed away but no one could access them until the slayer turned 18. This is my most shot at femslash and I hope I didn't do too terribly. I hope these two aren't ooc. I own nothing. Please reveiw.

I was sitting on the couch with my head tilted back, staring at the plain ceiling. Back when we first met, I never thought I'd be here now. I subconsciously reached my hand down to finger the item in my pocket. It was from my grandmother, turns out she left me a nice amount of stuff but I couldn't claim it before because I was twelve when she died. I just found out recently so my girlfriend doesn't know but I'll tell her today. Here she comes, my girlfriend of three years and the love of my life. I remember a time when the l word would send me running faster then anything else. And now I sound like a sap. I guess that's just what she does to me.

"Hey Faith," Buffy said, settling down in my lap and giving me a soft, sweet kiss.

"Hey B," I replied distractedly. How the hell am I suppose to work up the nerve ?

"What's wrong?" she asked me, concerned as usual.

"Nothin' B, but if you want to dress up in that tight nurse outfit and give me an examination I won't complain," I told her, adding in a dimpled grin and wiggled my eyebrows.

She giggled slightly with a cherry face before lightly slapping my arm. "Really though, shiny nickel for your thoughts?"

"I thought it was s'posed a penny?" I replied as a brilliant idea occurred to me.

"Well all I have is a nickel," Buffy pouted slightly.

I leaned in and kissed her, gently sucking on her protruding lower lip and making her moan slightly before pulling back. I tilted my head back again and stared at the ceiling. "B, have you ever thought where we'll be in ten years?"

She thought for a moment, probably surprised that I was the one asking this question. "Hmm, not really but I hope we'll still be together."

"Together as in married or just living together?" I asked. Hey, subtlety's never really been my thing.

She blushed. "I don't know Faith, but I would like to someday be married to you."

"Romance isn't really my thing B," I started, tilting my head back down to look into her gorgeous hazel green eyes. I pulled my grandmother's ring out of my pocket and smiled softly at her gasp. "But is that a yes?"
