A/N) So, you all know me. Big Zelda fan! Well, my friend AnnoyingSword217, showed me that Hylia and Demise are actually a really cute couple. Normally, I hate Ganon/Demise with everything I have, but the pairing is cute. So I wrote this really short little poem/drabble thing. On Demise remembering, and explaining why he does what he does. It's silly, but the poetic quality made me feel like I should post it. Plus, I thought Annoying might get a kick out of seeing it. So yeah, it's not much, but here it is.

I don't own TLoZ or any characters relating to it. I'm just fanboy with head canons and theories! That's what makes this fanfiction.

Do you remember those days when we were young and carefree? We were the best of friends, and everything was so easy. You showed me the beauty of all the things you created. Frolicking through flowers, and your smile was the most beautiful I had ever seen.

But your eyes when they stared at me with hatred, and your mouth was set in a frown, it boiled hatred in my heart.

Do you remember how our first kiss was like a dream? You left me absolutely breathless, and it was then I knew I loved you with everything I had. I wanted nothing more than to keep you safe. And I may have been a little possessive, but it was for you. You were mine to love forever. Your giggle filled my heart with happiness.

But the commanding tone in your voice when you ordered me to stop, made me want nothing more, than to keep destroying what you loved.

Do you remember the times we made love? Your pale and creamy skin, beneath my tanned and calloused hands. It was all so perfect to feel you give me everything you had. Beautiful tears cascading down your cheeks. Your soft I love you's through the night, made my life worth living.

But your I hate you's, and angry tears, made the rage I felt so much more powerful. And I had to take from you, what you wanted from me.

I remember, but do you? What happened to our days of innocence? Are these pathetic humans, who are so below you, worth that you had to sacrifice yourself, and become mortal for them, Hylia? Was it really worth all of that?

I remember, but do you? How much it broke my heart, to prove to you that power was everything! Is that why as you sealed me in the pillar? You had tears pouring down your face. Not from the pain of our battle, but from the pain you felt in your heart. I heard as you whispered my name.

I remember, but do you? Finding your incarnation, who couldn't hold a candle to your beauty. I just wanted to touch your face, and make it all better, but you made a hero to protect you. Was that necessary? No one is more suited to protect you than I.

I will find you again. Then you will be mine to hold forever. I know, deep down, you still care for me. Centuries can pass, but you can't erase the past.

I will find you again. My hatred, it will always be reborn. The hatred, for the Hero you hide behind. The one that keeps me from reawakening those old memories, to make you love me again.

I will find you again. Oh, my sweet Hylia. Hide all you want, but one day you will need me, and I will be here. Ready to slaughter anyone in our path.

You are the Goddess Hylia, and you will be nothing without me. A God in his own right, bringing my namesake to those who deserve it. Yes, without Demise, you have nothing.
