Dear Mr. and Mrs. Zeigler,
I know I am not the girl you wanted your son to marry. I just wanted to tell you that I love Toby with all of my heart and soul. I know what happened 20 years ago and everything is still implanted in my memory. I know I was not the perfect Jewish girl like Andrea Wyatt, but I do love Toby. He was my first love. I still love him and always will.
I have learned to forgive you for making Toby leave me while I was pregnant with his childï¾ your grandchildï¾ and thus making me give her up for adoption. That is something I live with everyday. Every time I look into Toby's eyes, I think about what could have been. But I can't bear to think about it anymore.
I wanted to let you know what I have been going through the last two decades without the man that I love and the child I never knew. Just thought you needed to know how I felt.
