My Stupid American Life . . . .

Ok you wanna know why it totally sucks to be me.

Despite dating the hottest most popular guy in school and being the daughter of a famous actress, I am the least popular girl in my school. Everyone thinks that I'm this total nerd. I mean just because I don't go to killer house parties which last from 12 midnight to 4am. Do my homework and listen in class, it doesn't mean that I do crosswords at the weekend and ask for puzzles for my birthday.

Another reason why it totally sucks to be me, is the fact that, seeing as my mom is a famous actress and her having to travel so often, I'm left at home with my majorly mellow dad and older and younger sisters, Lucy and Jessica.

Lucy is in the year above me, and in total contrast with me, she is the most popular girl in the entire school. She's not only super popular, but she is the cheerleading captain, she goes to practice all the time after school. She's also majorly good looking, she's one of those plain faced pretty girls, and she's got no spots and no fat – grrrrrr.

My younger sister Jess, it super smart, she goes to one of those gifted kid schools, it's called Horizon. She's like twelve now and is already smarter than me, and I'm sixteen. Admittedly I'm pretty smart, but I'm no genius.

My dad, like my mom. Totally admire my older sister Lucy; they think she's some kind of angel, despite the fact that in her SAT's she needed to copy of Gerald this total English dweeb, just to scrape a C. They give her whatever she wants even if she doesn't deserve it, me on the other hand, they ignore and never listen to. When it comes to my little sister Lucy, they really admire her intelligence, but don't reward her as greatly as they do Lucy. Nevertheless, they actually pay attention to her.

Chapter 1 – Blitz at Baker Street

My sister's gone to one of those killer house parties at Baker Street again. The girl that hosts them is called Emma Fletcher, she takes her house parties really seriously, and she buys all these decorations which only get ripped down anyway. She gives out invites and stuff, she works dead hard. I only know this stuff because I went to one once, I had to bring Jess with me, since mom and dad had dumped her on me to go and see mom's new movie premiere. So Jess and I went, Jess drank too much then puked all over Emma's couch – it was gross.
