HELLO! I'm going to try and write a Glee fic right now! I'm writing one on my cousin's computer, but obviously I don't get to write that often..because it's my cousin's computer. So, I'm writing a different one on mine! Enjoy.
I don't own Glee, because if I did, QUINN WOULD BE NICE AND FINN AND RACHEL WOULD BE TOGETHER. Just sayin'.
She needed to look like she didn't give a crap. Like she was the same chick she was before. Fearless. Doesn't care what anyone else says. Doesn't listen to what anyone else says.
Because she was Santana Lopez. The girl with the name that sounds like she should be a Latina pop star, like Jennifer Lopez. Except with a cooler first name.
But although she looked arrogant and mean as usual, inside she was breaking down, sobbing. She felt vulnerable and weak, defeated. She could get with any guy in school, but she couldn't get with the one person she wanted to.
And that person was a girl.
She never really knew she was a lesbian. After her first lesbian kiss(she was 14, right? She didn't really remember), she told herself she was bisexual, because the sparks were there. But the sparks were never there with the guys. But she pushed the thoughts away. She was just a hormonal teenager.
Now, she had accepted herself. Well, sort of. When she broke up with Sam she told him not to tell anyone the reason. But, man, all those gay jokes she made! She felt like hugging Hummel right now.
So, walking down the hallway to Glee club, seeing Brittany smile and kiss that wheel-chaired dweeb made Santana want to cry. Not to mention the wheel-chaired dweeb was a boy.
She wanted to be with Brittany. And that was that. But no, Brittany liked boys. Stupid boys. What did she see in that paralyzed nerd anyway? He wasn't even that good-looking.
Brittany was pretty. And her dumbness she was was cute. She was also sweet, and loving, which led her to not break up with Artie. God, this was painful.
She reached the choir room at the same time as Brittany, who was pushing the robot. Brittany smiled sweetly and guiltily at Santana before strolling in to the room, and Santana wanted to break down right then and there. But, she had to be strong. She strutted into the room, trying to look smug.
The whole Glee club was sitting there. She was late. Awesome. Now everyone was staring at her. She rolled her eyes and took a seat next to Sam, putting her legs on his lap. Mr. Shue started talking and Sam seemed to take an opportunity to talk to her.
He whispered, "Um..what are you doing? I thought we broke up..I thought you were-"
"Oh, shut up, blondie. You think I was serious about that? That just shows how good an actor I am," she whispered. She leaned back in her seat and smirked, feeling the burn of Brittany's eyes behind her. She knew it wasn't jealousy. Brittany was confused. And probably hurt Santana hadn't told the truth.
"Well okay then," Sam said.
"So," Mr. Shue said. Santana glanced up at him. Mr. Shue had scrawled "dance" on the white board. "As much as it pains me to say this, we should sing every genre of music, even the bad auto-tuned songs that they play on top 40 stations and in clubs. The lyrics are usually bad and meaningless, but they're popular. So, that's our topic for this week."
Sam leaned back and put his arms behind his head. "Just more Justin Bieber for me." Finn raised his hand.
"Mr. Shue, what are us guys supposed to sing that aren't weirdly obsessed with Justin Bieber?"
"Just choose something."
And Santana knew just what she was going to choose.
So...did you like it? I ship Artie and Brittany, but Brittana IS AMAZING. This story is going to be a two shot, because I obviously I can't end it here. And, I can't end it without a happy ending! Maybe...if you've read my other stories you'd know :)
REVIEW PLEASE?
