Author's Note: This is a Poemfic! It isn't a song, its a sweet yet sad poem my friend, Caitlin, wrote. Sora and Tai are both 16 years old. Figure out the others ages from there! Here is the story.

Sora sat on a chair which was around the walls of the gym. She was watching many couples as they danced to the slow song. It was the Snow Falling Dance at her school right before Christmas. She sighed. No one, not even her best friend, asked her to the dance. Tai, the best friend, asked Mimi out. She seen them. They were dancing.

I watched him dancing with her
Gliding across the floor

Sora felt tears fill her eyes. Mimi was wearing a beautiful light pink dress and she had pink gloves on. Her hair was up and strands fell across her fair face. The dress flowed around her as she layed her head on Tai's shoulder. Her was wearing a crisp black tuxedo. Sora looked plain in her blue jean skirt and yellow tank top and her hair in pigtails with sparkles around her body.

Barely touching the ground
No words were spoken

Sora bowed her head. She knew that Tai and Mimi would stay together. Tai wouldn't say anything all night to her because he was with the love of his life. Mimi. She kept trying to convince herself that Tai loved her deep inside but he never wanted to show it.

But there was no need
And so I ran - faraway

She jumped up and ran out of the gym, tears spilled from her cinnamon colored eyes. Tai stopped and looked toward Sora, staying with Mimi. Dancing with each other. Staying forever in the arms of loved ones. Sora's hair blew in wind. Her tears flooded her cheeks.

Not believing what I had seen
Not caring where I ended up

She continued to ran. Afraid that what she had seen, what she had felt would catch up to her. People looked at her as she pushed past them. She didn't care. She wanted out of this place. She NEEDED out of this place. She ran across the road as she seen a car skid to stop.

Just running away
Leaving behind this town

She stopped at the railing just ahead of the river. The river was once a beautiful place Tai and her would visit and play when they were younger. But that had ended. It could never be beautiful again. It seemed like a deathbed. Bringing Mimi and Tai together and pulling her apart.

And my memories
Of him and her
