"Emma?" The brunette calls from down the long hallway, her voice carrying down the stairs and into the living room when the blonde sheriff is seated with their sixteen year old son—helping him with some homework project that he'd waited until the last minute to complete.

"Yea?" She calls back, keeping her concentration on the project in front of her, hot glue gun in one hand and a popsicle stick in the other. "Henry… this is looking less and less like a pyramid and more like a mound of wood and glue…." She muttered to him as he continued the project on his side of the pyramid.

"It still looks like a pyramid on my side, what are you doing over there?" He asks, rising on his knees to look at what his birth mother was doing to his project. "Ma! You're using too much glue!"

"Well I'm sorry, I haven't had to use a glue gun in a while…" She muttered, still keeping an ear out for Regina should she continue. What she heard, however, were stomps down the stairwell along with gurgling as the owner of the stomps came around the corner and stepped into the room. Carrying… a furred bundle. "What… did you do to her?" Regina narrowed her eyes at her wife.

"What did I do to her? She was fine this morning when I left for work!" Regina snapped back. "I walked in there to change her, and she's a damned dog. What happened?!" Emma looked between her daughter and her wife.

"I have no idea."

"You're lying." Regina spoke quietly. "What happened?"

"Well… we went by the pet store today… and she was playing with one of the puppies… then… poof…" Emma let her shoulders sag down and gestured to the toddler-dog in Regina's arms. "I… I didn't do it." Regina looked down at the little brown fluffy puppy in her arms, wearing her daughter's dress and Emma didn't know if she was going to smile or freak out.

The brunette finally let a smile take over her features and she waved her hand, purple smoke surrounded the little puppy and when it cleared, she was left with a two year old blonde with her eyes and Emma's smile. "Hi there, Mary. So you showed Momma a trick…" Tears were glistening in her irises.

"Ma! Ma showed puppies!" The little toddler clapped gleefully and Regina hugged the girl to her chest.

"Emma… she has magic." The blonde nodded with a smile, standing up, she walked over to embrace her wife and daughter. "I… knew that she might… but…"

"She's still perfect Regina… she just has a little extra." The brunette nodded, leaning onto Emma's shoulder. "Now, come over here and show me why this thing doesn't look like it's supposed to… because I'm doing exactly what Henry's doing… and my side of the pyramid looks like a pile of goop…" Emma finished.

"A pile… of goop?" Regina walked around to the side of the table Emma had been previously sitting in front of and sighed. "You're not letting the glue dry before you continue… you're also using too much of it…"

"It's hot glue… it melts and then comes out of the gun, I don't know how much is 'too much'."

"Your 'big pile of goop' means it's too much."
