This is a drabble I wrote back in October. I live happily in New England, where the weather is just a massive mindfuck and it just so happened to start snowing. Now, note to some it really DOESN'T snow in October for us. So it was a weird event all on its own and this small little thing popped into my head. I just couldn't ignore it.

SO! I hope you all enjoy…

He had realized this was a bad idea long before it even began. Already running late and they were off the trains, stalling the LINES, for a simple thing like snowfall.

Ingo frowned as he watched his brother run through the powdered snow, laughing and dancing and twirling so fast his coat looked like a parachute. It was rather immature in his mind. You wouldn't catch Ingo spinning in the snow like a child. It would probably be considered an apocalyptic sign. Though they were identical twins you could never imagine one acting like the other. As Emmet laughed and spun around, sticking his tongue out to catch snowflakes, Ingo was stressing about how many complaints would be in their mail from the trainers still waiting in the subway.

He pushed these thoughts aside. If there was any definite about them it was that Ingo kept everything in order for them and that made him happy. Therefore Emmet was the one who kept everyone ELSE happy and (unfortunately) kept Ingo's life without a lack of excitement (let's NOT bring up the incident where Emmet thought he could teach the Joltik how to drive the trains). So when the excitement died down there was only one REAL logical reason. Emmet was depressed.

A depressed Emmet was not something Ingo tolerated. It concerned the trainers and it made Emmet become even more absent minded. Ingo knew how his twin seemed to forget about his own health or his own needs as it was. It wasnt that he was intentionally neglecting himself, no. It was that Emmet was forgetful. And when he was sick he would forget to eat his regular meals without Ingo pushing him towards the table, get distracted from simple things like brushing his teeth or combing his hair, and even forget where he was or what he was doing in the middle of a battle. No surprise that when Emmet was starting to feel down the only one who DIDN'T notice was Emmet himself. So it was Ingo's job to make sure Emmet stayed health and HAPPY.

When they both overheard a trainer mentioning how much snow was still falling outside and how much had already piled up. Ingo could see the sudden spark of excitement and a longing creep into his twin's eyes. That was all it took to order a momentary stop of all the trains and usher his brother out before any questions could be asked- from Emmet and the trainers.

Hearing a quiet 'THUMP' Ingo returned from his thoughts to see Emmet laying in the snow, his arms and legs moving to create an imprint. Eventually he stopped, carefully stood up and away from his creation, and smiled at his twin.

"Look brother! I made a snow angel!"

"That's wonderful Emmet." Ingo commented calmly, repressing his urge to add 'but we need to get going. The trainers, the TRAINS'. He couldn't end his twin's fun just yet. Not when he was looking at him with that big smile and those bright eyes. So instead Ingo simply watched quietly as his eager brother went about making a large ball of snow, laughing like a child. There would definitely be complaints in their mailbox tomorrow and quite a few aggravated trainers back in the subway right now.

But to keep Emmet happy it was worth it to him.

That's all, I know, it's not much but I enjoyed writing it. D: and I need to start writing more too… ( IM SO SORRY!)

Hopefully this will inspire some more stories. (crosses fingers)
