Sora was more graceful than he was given credit for. Sure, once in a while he looked clumsy while swinging around a giant key or a wooden sword, but that required a gracefulness he hadn't completely learned.

Riku learned this one night, as he watched Sora waltz with some girl at a public event. Maybe if he hadn't been surprised by his skill he would have been able to tease Sora about his awkwardness when receiving praise or joke that if he concentrated he could look just as good with a sword. But all that stumbled out was more praise when it came time for Riku to take him home.

They stopped by the Secret Place that night and Sora opened a new world for Riku. They stumbled for a while, Riku not quite catching on, until finally everything fell into place. A few nights later they'd dance on the beach under the moon, and then by the docks, wood creaking under their feet until temptation got the best of them and they ended up in the water.

They laughed and joked with each other all the time, but it seemed as though the time spent together then was most precious.

"Maybe one day I can do something for you." Riku said. If he had to, he'd learn a skill and teach Sora, just to give him the same experience.

"You've done enough already." Sora said with a smile. He showed the bruise on his side from earlier. "I'll beat you one day."

And they left it at that, because Sora was dragging Riku to his feet for another waltz, and this time he was going to let Riku lead.
