The feeling of exhaustion flew through my body. I had to grip the table from fear of falling over. Looking up at the person in front of me, seeing if I had successed. Well she was breathing, that's a start. Slowly the woman in front of me open her eyes. She blinked a couple of times but then turned her attention to me. Wonder followed her gaze. For not until that moment I had not realised that my eyes were still, glowing bright blue.
I try to make my eyes turn back to there normal colour but nothing work. It was then that I felt the pain in my side, near the bottom of my ribs. Letting go of the table I look down and see a small knife with a hand on it. Tracing the hand to its source I see a soldier. Of cause, the one that hates me.
Pulling the knife from my side I feel a hand brace and support me. This same hand gridded me to a wall and let me slowly slid down it. My breathing had changed and start to become unnatural.
"Lexa? Lexa?" Said a familiar voice
"Colonel, I'm sorry, I should have sensed..." I answered
"Don't, talk, Lex"
I nodded. The Colonel lifted up my shirt and examined the wound. His face showed no emotion but I could tell it was bad from his eyes.
"Lieutenant" said the Colonel
"Yes, sir?" She answered
"Lexa is wounded"
The Lieutenant examined my wound. It was bleeding bad. I tried to distract myself from the pain by looking at the woman. A doctor was looking over her and asking questions. She was paying no attention to him but to me.
Yelping in pain, I turned my attention back to the Lieutenant. That's when I saw she had the Medkit opened and was going to pull out the bandage. My hand touched hers. She looked at me.
"Don't... Worry... About doing that" I said
"But Lex, I need..." Answered the Lieutenant
"It will heal soon" and as I said this the wound started to heal "See!"
The Lieutenant just shook her head and said "You amaze me. You know that, don't you"
"Maybe but you haven't seen everything" I relayed smiling
