Disclaimer: don't own
Written because I hate the idea that Connor and Abby would stop trusting each other when they returned to their time. I like to believe there is a different reason they seem so off with each other.
"You know when I said I wanted to be like James Bond?" Connor groaned, burrowing deeper into the comfortable bed, and closer to Abby.
"Mmm." she responded, repositioning his arm into a more comfortable position over her waist so he would complain about having no feeling in his arm in the morning.
"I take it all back. Spying is way to much hard work."
"I know." she said softly, frowning. "I didn't mean it. What I said today." she said suddenly.
Connor blinked at the back of her head. "I know." he told her.
She sighed. "I don't like fighting with you." she sighed.
Connor kissed the back of her neck. "But Lester's really worried." he whispered.
Abby huffed a little. "That's the only reason I'm going along with this at all. But I swear if Philip does one more damn thing to-"
"He won't get the chance Abby." Connor interrupted. "You won't let him, I won't let him and Lester won't let him. Rex, Sid, Nancy and all the other creatures will be-"
"I wasn't talking about them Connor. Though if he tries that again I will kill him." Abby growled.
"Then what were you talking about?" Connor asked, confused.
"I know you have to suck up to him Connor; and I know we have to have these stupid fights so he and everyone else believes his little plans are working. But if he does anything else to blatantly try and take you away from me, I'll do worse than kill him."
Connor smiled a little, but Abby could tell it was one of disbelief. "Possessive much?" he asked her teasingly.
"You know I am." she replied easily.
