Read first please so that you understand

This takes place during season 1 episode 2 the night of the comet. I'm taking a small twist in how the episode plays out, as there will be no vervain necklace that Stefan can give Elena so when Damon corners her outside by her car the scenario is a little bit different. Hope you enjoy this little one shot of the season 1 Damon.

Unlocks trunk opens and closes it turns around and Damon is right there she gasps in surprise and then says, "You scared me. What are you doing here?"

"Hiding from Caroline he whispers

"Why is that? She asks using a mock whisper

"I need a break she talks more then I can listen"

"That can be a sign"

"Well she is officially young"

"Not much younger then you are"

"I don't see it going anywhere in the longer picture."

"Caroline may have some annoying traits but we have been friends since the first grade and that means something to me"

"Dually noted I'm sorry if I make you uncomfortable that not my intentions"

"Yes it is otherwise you wouldn't put an alternate meaning behind everything that you say."

"Your right I do have other intentions and so do you really I see them you want me excuse me."

"I get to you, you find yourself drawn to me you think about me even when you don't want to think about me I bet you even dreamed about me and right now you want to kiss me" he said as he locked his eyes into her deep brown eyes.

He waits a second and then begins to lean in towards Elena. Elena slightly dazed is also leaning in she feels a strong desire to now kiss the man in front of her. They are locked in a kiss.

The kiss breaks and Damon looks down back at her with a grin on his face. He looks back into her eyes to tell her "now go tell Stefan that your ready to go home."

Elena nods her head and heads back to Stefan to announce her departure.

Damon is back home sitting on the leather couch with a drink in his hand when Stefan barges into the living room.

"what did you do to her? He barks

Damon looks back at his with an innocent look "what are you talking about dear brother"

"Don't play stupid Damon, why did you go after Elena, you know how I feel about her."

Damon stands up to face his brother "and that is why I did it, you took away Katherine from me, so I took Elena away from you"

Stefan shoves his brother against the wall in vampire speed "Stay away from her!" he roars.

Damon being much stronger then his animal feeding brother flips Stefan over so that Stefan is now on the wall.

"Don't be stupid, we both know that I'm stronger then you and can kill you if I so desired. You're lucky that all I'm taking is Elena now if you don't mind I have my new girlfriend to visit.

Before Stefan can make another move Damon reached up to snap his neck sending an unconscious Stefan on the ground.

Damon smirks at his work and turns to leave with a little skip in his step. He had every intention of making sure his brother knew of his plans with Elena before he went through with them. oh yes revenge is good Damon though, and this Elena is going to make a great Katherine substitute.

Ok so this is a one shot story of something that I wish kind of happened in the second episode and then of coarse Stefan would rescue her and eventually give Elena vervain. I just re-watched season 1-4 again and felt like writing this. And don't get me wrong I am a huge Delena fan I just felt like Damon shouldn't have had to wait so long to kiss Elena so ya this is it and I hope you enjoyed this.
