Loki felt like it would never end. The constant replay.

"I-I can't breath..I-" The thud. "Sarah? SARAH!"

The screams of her name would shatter his thoughts at random points in the day, and he would find himself shaken, wanting to scream along and clear his head. But now, trapped in a glass cage, he was getting too much of the story that haunted him.

Her vibrant red hair danced in the sunlight, her smile almost blinding.

With her I'd felt..alive..

"SARAH!"

Loki knew he was shaking as his knees buckled. He couldn't help it, with the mysterious girl's screams for her friend shattering his thoughts, and how little he knew, it swirled in his head, like oil in water.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME, PLEASE!"

The man, he'd come for the girl's friend, too. The image of the other girl's death flashed in front of Loki, an unwanted vision.

"P-please.." He'd slit her throat, and she fell to the ground, praying…but nobody would save her.

Loki became aware of the moisture that ran down his cheeks as he gripped his head, and, for the first time, screamed.

"SARAH!"

"Thor!" Nat yelled, as she grabbed the hulky god, and dragged him over to the monitor showing him the image on the screen. Loki was on the ground, shaking as he covered his ears.

"Is he..crying?" Tony asked, behind them with his bag of blueberries.

"SARAH!" Loki suddenly screamed, his voice scratchy, horrified, and full of pain, like someone had just stabbed him. Nat, Tony, and Thor pulled back from the screen, surprised. Bruce and Steve walked forward, looking with confusion at Loki.

"He is not normally like this." Thor said, confused. Loki drew in a shuddering breath, pulling his hand from his ears to his sides.

"Sarah?" His next word was a timid whisper.

"Come back…"

Tony shook his head, "I'm going to talk to him."

"Stark.." Steve tried to say, but Tony was already out the door.

They turned their attention to the monitor.

"Loki." The god looked up upon hearing his name. The man of Iron stood in front of his cage, looking sad and confused.

"Who've you been screaming about?" He asked, and Loki shook his head.

"You wouldn't understand." Loki hissed, finally realizing what a fool he'd made of himself.

Tony put a hand on the glass cage.

"I've missed you." Tony mouthed. Loki sighed, walking forward, and putting his hand where Tony's was pressed.

"And I as well." Loki mouthed back.

Tony's eyes flickered to the ground. He'd known Loki, the real one, not the cold and malicious monster, before this mess.

"I'll come back." Loki said, loud and clear, as his eyes rolled up into his head and he fainted.

"Loki? LOKI!"
