Finn/Marceline. They're so adorable together, you have no idea. Hope you enjoy. T for swearing, suggestive content. Sort of fluffy. Short.

"Oh, hey, Marceline." Finn leaned against the older princess' throne.

"Oh, what's up, Finn?" She grinned, "Wanna do something badass today?"

"Does it include saving anyone? I'm so freaking tired of that. Jake's off with that freaking girlfriend of his and…"

The rude teenage girl cut him off, "And you're jealous." She giggled, "Let's go smash some rainbow people?"

"No!" Finn screamed, a pitchy, cracked scream. "Those are the nicest people in the whole Ooo!"

Marceline kicked back her feet, casually stretching her arm around Finn's shoulders, and whispered in his ear, "Not when you piss them off."

Finn grinned, off they went. Marceline offered a lift, Finn told her that they should just run. She grabbed her day-umbrella and ran out.

Finn tripped somewhere along the way and rolled around in the grass for a second. Marceline stared for a minute, thinking, what the hell is this kid doing? but she sat and played in the grass for a minute with the young teenage boy.

They were both laying down on the grass when Marceline shifted to face Finn. "Hey, Finnegan, why are you so dedicated to saving shit?" He turned to her and shrugged.

"I guess it's just that the crappy childhood I had…I don't want people to have the same life."

The vampire chuckled, "Crappy childhood my ass. My abusive father, my slut of a mother. My getting high whenever I wanted to write music. That's why my lyrics are so stupid. I mean, daddy, why did you eat my fries? That song was hardly about my father eating fries. I had a freaking eating disorder back then."

"What was it about? If not fries?"

"I'll save that for when your older." She winked at him, "but what about you? What made your life so damn shitty that makes you want to dedicate what could be partying (like anyone your age) to such a trapped life?"

"My parents died." Finn whispered. "Jake was just so loving. He was ten years older. His parents took me in. Then we grew up. His parents left."

"How'd your 'rents die?"

"I was told they died in their sleep. I think that's a lame was to die. I wanted them to die because of Voldemort. But I don't think they died in their sleep. I think they got killed. They weren't the most liked people in Ooo, you know."

"I'm sorry."

"Tell me about your eating disorder." He commented, to change the subject.

"I'd eat for my mom and my dad, and my brother. He was so scared. He was crying, and, Jesus Christ. I'd run back and forth from the dinner table to the bathroom, yah know, playing yo-yo in the back of my throat."

Finn leaned towards her, so close Marceline's nose touched his. "Please don't play with the yo-yo while I'm doing this." He kissed her lightly on the lips.

She bit her lower lip as his mouth moved away.

"Sorry," he mumbled. "Go on."

"I don't have anything else to say." She smiled.

"Oh, then I'll keep going." He leaned over, and kissed her again.
