Past Lives
Relena's cold eyes stared at Emperor Heero, 'if only he knew' she thought, 'what is in store for our 'good' emperor.' The guards eyed her suspiciously there were two behind her (Trowa and Duo) and two in front (Wufei and Quatre) of the emperor.
Since her entrance Heero's guard had really slacked off. He was laying sideways on his throne, one foot lopped over the armrest, and his face cradled in his one hand.
Relena looked around, if this didn't work, she would either be killed or use a toy for the guards whenever they pleased. But it didn't matter; she would kill them all if that happened. She crouched down holding her knees and bent her head down. She began to sob, or at least that's what they thought.
"Please forgive me highness" she play sobbed, "I was only looking for a family treasure which your guards took from my mother some time ago." She could here the twinkling sound of ornaments as Heero nodded his head. The guards weren't paying as close attention to her as they had before, so she took the opportunity. The whipped out a dagger from her waistband and launched herself at the emperor.
* End dream *
Both their eyes snapped open, the two of them bathed in a cold sweat. Heero sat up and looked over at Relena, she was also sitting looking at him.
"Heero?" she asked quietly.
"Yeah?"
"Did we dream the same thing?"
" I don't know, what happened in yours?"
"I almost killed you" she answered blankly.
"Same as mine, I guess we did dream the same thing, but it's still pretty late so we should probably go back to sleep."
Relena nodded her head in agreement.
Both of them lay back down and fell asleep.
* The next morning*
Heero got up out of bed and walked down to the kitchen, Relena soon followed behind him.
Duo sat at the table munching on some Frosted Flakes.
"Duo?" Relena asked, "what are you doing here?"
"Hilde kicked me out, and I was hungry, so I figured my good friends would feed me."
"Can it Maxwell."
"Ooh! Someone's moody, what happened Relena not like ya?"
Heero blushed, "Shut up Duo!"
"Fine, fine, I'll be going then, " he said through slurps of cereal.
As Duo left Relena went into the library and found a book on reincarnation. Heero sat at the table as Relena flipped through pages.
"Ah ha!" she squealed in delight, " found it!"
"Found what?" asked Heero quizzically.
"It says here that people who were involved in the same past life will often have recollections when they are together, although if something happened to one person because of the other the same will happen to the other person, just caused by the sufferer."
Heero looked at her, "so if you killed me in my past life, I'd kill you in this one?"
"Correct." She answered, "creepy."
Relena turned around and to her surprise the entire room had changed from a new age home to an ancient Chinese palace quarters. She looked down at her attire, she wore a black/navy outfit like a bandit, she turned to Heero who was now wearing fancy robes made of silk with a crown covered in tiny dangling ornaments.
Heero had a shocked expression on his face, "Relena? What is this?"
" I think its our past life Heero.
