It was SpringField, having a normal day. Music started playing.

"Simpson! Homer Simpson! He's the greatest guy is history…" Homer sang.
"DAD!" Bart interrupted. "That's The Flintstones theme, stop copyrighting!"
"Aw..." Homer said, disappointed.

Narrator: This year...

Homer was speeding down a street on the way to his work, going at least 350 miles an hour.

"The kids are late!" Marge screamed realising the bus was gone while Homer chugged down Duff.

Narrator: One family...

Suddenly, red lights were flashing and a siren was going off.

Narrator: Will go on an adventure...

"Homer, calm down!" Bart ordered. "I know that there's a way to survive this!"

Narrator: Between universes...

"Welp, let's go!" Homer said, jumping through the portal.

Everybody jumped through and they appeared in a weird city.

"Good morning, city!" came a voice, as a jolly, yellow man appeared on an apartment building.

The explosion spread out to the rest of Springfield, destroying all of it.

"Hmm…" Foxy said. "You need to find this mysterious book, it's hidden deep deep deep underground…"
"Got it!" Homer said, pulling it out.
"WHAT!?" Foxy shouted, surprised. "How did you…"
"I stol-I MEAN-borrowed and never gave backed it from Flanders!" Homer said.

Narrator: Crossover...

"What do we do?" asked Lisa.
"I have a plan, but we're gonna need bait!" Bart said.
