Shikamaru and Temari were newlyweds. They had spoken about a family, and one night they tried.
Month 1:
When Temari told Shikamaru she was pregnant he just thought it was an April fool's trick. Until she showed him the test.
Month 2:
Temari was surprised she had no morning sickness.
Month 3:
Shikamaru thought he was lazy until Temari started sleeping in late.
Month 4:
Shikamaru and Kankuro hated Temari's cravings.
Month 5:
Shikamaru surprised Temari with dinner on her birthday.
Month 6:
Temari and Shikamaru went to Tsunade to see how the baby was doing. Everything was fine.
Month 7:
Gaara and Kankuro stayed over at Temari and Shikamaru's place. Temari hated that Kankuro was making fun of how big she was. Then her mood swings came.
Month 8:
Everyone surprised Temari with a baby shower.
Month 9:
Temari gave birth to her and Shikamaru's first child. A girl named Yei on December 4.
