Fiery, Elegant Perfection
She would braid her hair sitting by the kitchen window.
Fiery red shimmering in the morning sunlight
Her fingers combing through the long, lustrous locks; dividing them into three sections of beautiful, rich red.
Twisting the passionate red into a thick braid she would hum slightly; smiling to herself.
And I would watch, captivated by her beauty.
She would look up at me, blushing slightly under my intense gaze, and a dazzling smile would light up that face.
And I would be speechless, drinking in the sight before my eyes.
Pale skin, screened by a curtain of vivid red, big blue eyes sparkling with love.
She was perfection itself!
…
But now, the red has faded, disappeared, leaving behind a charming silver.
She still braids her hair sitting by the kitchen window.
Elegant silver sparkling in the morning sunlight.
Her fingers combing through the long, glittering locks; dividing them into three sections of pure, graceful silver.
Twisting the precious silver into a thick braid, she hums slightly; smiling to herself.
And I watch, captivated by her beauty.
She looks up at me blushing slightly under my intense gaze, and a dazzling smile lights up that face.
And I am speechless, drinking in the sight before my eyes.
Pale skin, screened by a curtain of soft silver, big blue eyes sparkling with love.
She is still perfection itself!
