Beginnings of Mina Nui

Prologue

After many adventures over the years of so many long adventures, the Matoran, Turaga (being restored from being Toa Hordika, only to a newer stage of Turaga), and Toa have traveled to yet another island.

As soon as they reached this new paradise…

Jaller came out of his boat to notice that the beach is covered with metallic spheres that are each about 1/3 the original size of Matoran Capsules. Hahli came up to one of them and touched it… it crumbled and inside revealed a blue Matoran just like Hahli, but unlike other Matoran, this one is so small that Hahli can hold her easily in her arms.

Nokama came by Hahli and smiled, "Tohunga, the Matoran young."

Gali Nuva came by the Ga-Tohunga Hahli just hatched; she scooped her up and carried her in her arms. Just by looking at those gentle eyes that looks just like hers, Gali felt joy filled into her soul. She called to her brothers, "Come on, we're going to need a lot of room."

Within the hour, everyone has hatched every Tohunga——

Tahu Nuva was dealing with several Ta-Tohunga. He said to one of them, as the little fella took out one of his Magma Swords, "Hey, don't touch that! It's not a toy!" The little guy dropped it and cried, Tahu realized his mistake and tried to make up for it, "Sorry, it's just that it's dangerous for children to play with really dangerous sharp objects."

Pohatu Nuva seems to have no trouble with some of the Po-Tohunga. He gave about eight of them a piggyback ride with ease; they all enjoy it, even the ones chasing him on foot! Luckily for the little Tohunga-children, he wasn't using his Mask of Speed.

Onua Nuva doesn't just have his hands full with some of the Onu-Tohunga; he's covered from neck-to-toe with them.

Lewa Nuva is playing with the Le-Tohunga, showing them the trick to 'wind-flying'. All of those green Bionicle beings are having an excellent time.

Wondrous Ko-Tohunga is looking at Kopaka Nuva; who are all very curious about him. He looks upon one with a mask that's just like his so long ago. He scooped the little one up and said to him, "Don't ever wander off too far."

Gali Nuva is being very motherly with the Ga-Tohunga; teaching them, caring for them, etc., even though she's not their real mother(s) and they are so much more of them than there are of the others.

The Toa of Light, Takanuva, however, walked away on the island. Jaller ran up to his friend, "What's wrong, Takanuva?" Takanuva said to his little Matoran friend, "I don't have a village to protect. My duty is to protect all and set the order of light and darkness to balance. Take care of the Tohunga, they need you all." Hahli walked up with a newly hatched Ga-Tohunga in her small arms and said, "We will." Jaller asks Takanuva, "Where are you going?" Takanuva said, "Don't worry, I'll be back someday."

And just like that, he sailed away… leaving his friends on the island with the Tohunga.

Vakama had a vision of the island about two days ago, now he's positive about naming this island, and he and the other Turaga called it, Mina Nui."
