Author's Comments: This is a little older. Not too old, but older. Deep Blue's life, shortly told. Contents from this will probably be repeated in „Waiting". That's the bad thing about headcanon. I'm sorry, if you read both and have to read the same thing in different words again.

He was sleeping. Sleeping forever. But he could dream. In his dreams Deep Blue could see it all. He saw the earth getting older, saw his host bodies, saw every creature, every day and night.

Unable to influence the world too much, he had always been there. Watching. Listening.

The silent observing soul.

There were days, when Deep Blue forgot who and what he was.

Those were days when he felt like he was disappearing. Maybe just a dream he himself was dreaming. Not real. Did he exist?

But then it came back to him. Memories.

A city. Seen through a window. A city full of live. And a window high above the buildings. A one-way window.

Nobody looked in, there was just someone looking out. ‚The Master' was what they called him.

Deep Blue.

Left alone with a window.

They didn't dare to come to close to him. They didn't dare.

Coming to close to the Master was a crime. He needed to be protected from stupid people.

Guards.

They weren't necessary. Deep Blue was stronger than all of them together. And yet they kept people from coming in. Protecting.

Protecting the silent man and his window.

Protecting nothing but deep blue lonelyness.

He didn't notice though. He didn't notice. He was just sitting there. Only sometimes he wondered about laughing people. Wondered how it felt like.

Earth.

Invriroment changing.

He stood at the window. Watched people scream.

Deep Blue couldn't stop it. He could clean up the mess after earth was done. But he couldn't stop it.

He had the power to destroy it. But when earth itself decided to fight, he couldn't stop it. Deep Blue could only wait until it was over.

His barrier wouldn't hold forever.

That was when they came.

He remembered standing on a balcony of his flying palace.

They were all there.

One started to speak.

„Deep Blue-sama... We will leave this to you. We believe in you. We're so thankfull that you are here for us. Master."

It was all a blur.

They were leaving. Deep Blue saw every single space ship.

Leaving to the sky.

Left.

Alone with the window. Looking out he saw the city. Dead bodies were the only citizens.

He didn't understand. What had happened? Why was he here?

Why did they leave him here?

Deep Blue didn't understand.

Didn't believe.

He opened the barrier, letting destruction come over the city.

Standing at the window. Awaiting death.

Anger.

Sudden anger flashed in Deep Blue's eyes.

They LEFT him. They dared to leave HIM. To... USE him.

Emotions.

Deep Blue learned to feel.

Pain.

And as his body died, he couldn't accept it.

Because there was no way Deep Blue would die.

The palace falling down on him, he laughed.

Tears.

Deep Blue never remembered that he had been crying as his body was chrashed, stopping his laughter.

But he survived.

His soul was send into the things that were still living.

Sleeping, but in his dreams he walked through his destroyed home. He watched nature taking over.

Waiting.

He waited hundret years. Thousand years.

But nobody came to worry about him. Nobody cared.

As long as he was letting them live comfortable, everything was alright.

Nobody cared about the person.

And Deep Blue hated.

Hate.

With hate all memories always came back to him.

They left him. They dared to leave him.

Deep Blue hated. And he stayed alive. Alone with the earth.

And earth teached him how to love.

Love a beautiful planet.

He loved it.

He wouldn't let anybody else have it. Use it, like he was used.

And when the day of his revenge was there, he would die.

He and the earth.

Together forever.
