A new year, a new game.

Each year Jerome comes up with some kind of bet that everybody in the house does.

When everyone arrived we sat down in a circle for the announcement.

"Okay so what's going on?" Eddie asked.

"Well, Sweetie, each year I do a wonderful bet and see who wins, nobody other than me and dear Trixie have ever won!" Jerome announced.

"What is the bet this year?" I asked.

"Bracelets!" Jerome grinned.

What?

"Bit girly for my taste Clarke but I am sure the girls and you could wear them!" Eddie grinned.

"No, we each wear these wristbands," Jerome smiled.

Passing us each a black, plain wristband.

"We have to try to steal them from each other and whoever keeps theirs safe the longest wins!" Jerome laughed.

"Rules?" Nina asked.

"There are none," Alfie and Jerome grinned.

"Let's start now!" Joy smiled, putting on her wristband.

"It doesn't go with my outfit," Amber frowned.

I rolled my eyes and she sighed and put it on.

Jerome's POV

Okay so list of people to get,

Alfie, easily tricked, involve aliens

Fabian, geek so just threaten to rip up his book or something

Eddie, dunno, he is new, probably Trixie will take care of him

Patricia, save her to the end

Joy, threaten her with Twilight post

Mara, my girlfriend, slip it of her wrist on a date or something

Nina, slip it of her wrist when she is asleep, Trixie says she is a deep sleeper

Amber,give her a new bracelet and take the wristband of.

I spotted Patricia writing down her own list.

"Can I see the list?" I asked.

"This year I am working alone," she announced.

"Okay, prepare to lose!" I smirked.

She glared at me and went back to the list.

Eddie's POV

My goal is to get Jerome and Yacker out first.

Oh and there Yacker is.

"Hey," I smiled.

"I'm busy, go away!" she complained, staring at a piece of paper.

"So want to work together?" I asked.

"I usually work with Jerome but I decided to work alone," she smirked.

"Want a hand massage?" I asked, smiling evilly.

"Sure," she said, passing me the opposite hand to her wristband and smirking.

It's on like donkey kong.
