The Death of Them All

BANG! The remaining ANBU ninja fell to the ground with a loud thud...a huge hole in the stomach. The remainings of a Chidori blast. 21-year-old Uchiha Sasuke weakly limped toward the almsot dead ninja. The ANBU squad was trying to bring him back to Konoha...again.
"I wanna see the face of the person that tried to come in the way of my goal." he stated slowly removing that mask.
And there she was. Once the mask was removed, strands of pink hair flowed onto the ground. His eyes widen as he stared at her. 21-year-old Haruno Sakura...laying a a pool of her own blood.
"No..." whispered Sasuke, falling to his knees.
"S-S-Sasuke-kun," Sakura whispered. He death was reaching her. Sasuke looked down at her...tears brimmed in his eyes.
"Sakura, why? WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!" cried Sasuke hugging the kunochi in his arms.
"I-I-I has to try j-just one l-l-last time. I'm s-sorry S-Sasuke-kun." she answered before she coughed violently.
Sasuke squeezed her tighter. "Please...stay with me. I need you. I...I love you." Sasuke whispered into her ear.
"Heh, you don't know how long I've been waiting to hear that. I love you...too..." Sakura said before her eyes closed and the life left her body.
"Sakura? Sakura...SAKURA!!" cried Sasuke as he screamed in anger, pain, and...sadness.

Five years later...
Naruto was walking in the forest when he came across the ninja memorial stone. He looked at the large marble stone and read the names. From his dad, the Fourth Hokage, the his closest friends. He then kneeled down infront of the stone and bowed.
He prayed, "Kami, please take care of Sakura for me. Let her enjoy her time up there with you and her friends. I wish one day she'll take me up there with her. Oh and take care of Sasuke. He's probably doing something stupid...in heaven."
Naruto then bowed agian and stood up, tears forming in his eyes. "I guess it wasn't meant to be." he said walking off.
