The bleak cityscape of skyscrapers and light blurred as we sped off into the night.

"Watch it. He's after us." Matt, who for some reason was driving my motorcycle, swerved to the right. I felt my stomach lurch from the sudden sharp turn. Looking back, I could tell that the car was still keeping up with us.

"Bring out the big guns." I told Matt. We wouldn't let them catch us. He sped up, expertly driving recklessly. The car was slowing down a bit, probably not able to turn corners like a motorcycle.

After running a few lights, we finally lost them.

Score: 1- Us, 2- Loser

"Haha, sayonara suckers!" I teased as Matt rolled his eyes.

We arrived at the apartment to discover that something... unexpected had occurred.

"Why are you here?"

My voice echoed through the room, and was met with only silence.

The person I saw sitting on my sofa was... it couldn't be. I glanced over at Matt with my mouth gaping wide open from the shock.

It was him.
