Charming Sense
Oliver Wood was a charming young man. He was upbeat, positive and had one heck of a smile. Percy knew this because they'd lived together at Hogwarts for seven years. That was, give or take, the equivalent of six years if you took out the weeks of holidays, but none the less that was six years of sitting together for meals, quidditch, revision, and weekend trips to Hogsmeade. Percy Weasley felt it was pretty safe to say that he knew just how charming Oliver Wood was.
When Percy left the burrow, after that fateful night he temporarily left the Weasley family, it had made sense that Oliver Wood was the first person he went to. If he still dated Penelope Clearwater he might have considered going to her, but that had ended years ago once the basilisk's curse had been lifted. Upon hearing Percy was homeless, however, Oliver felt it only made sense for Percy to move in with him. They'd sent seven years together, what was a few more?
Again, for Oliver, once Percy had moved in, it only made perfect sense to go out on the town and have a good piss up. Percy had moved out of his parent's nest and into his very first apartment. Oliver hadn't insister because he missed the comfort of having his long time friend and crush near him again, wasn't because it helped him sleep, because he felt safer. Oliver didn't pay attention to the fact that they'd have separate rooms either.
So when Percy found himself drunk and supporting himself against an equally drunk Oliver. They were trying, rather badly, to brace each other and Oliver was using that smile on Percy, his head cocked slightly to a side and those large chocolate eyes were half lidded and darkened. In that moment it had only made sense for Percy to kiss that charming smile right off that charming boy's face.
Author's Notes: Tada! A short little thing, written after watching HP1.. It's all Sean Biggerstaff's fault, you know the way he smiles when he's talking to harry and he goes "The captain, That's me.."smile
Feels weird writing something so short though.. got more stuff coming folks and I'm working on a little picture to go with this. .. got two versions cause I decided to redraw it and change Percy's head
